6’4, 240 with a 3.8 GPA. True defensive end in my evaluation, but could absolutely play TE at the next level. Saw strong recruiting traction early in his career. Recently visited Lafayette and Villanova for spring practices. Recruitment has slowed slightly, but the tape still supports a D1 projection. This is an FCS-ceiling player with a solid floor at that level. Frame and athleticism translate well to either side of the ball. Needs a spark in recruiting, but the ability is still there. Tape provides enough evidence to stay confident in the eval. One of those players who could pop again quickly. Still firmly in the D1 conversation.

is an explosive, twitchy edge and tight end for West Allegheny. I love his ability on both sides of the ball. As an edge, he explodes off the ball, and he is hard to block. He can make plays in the offensive backfield by being so disruptive. Then, as a tight end, he is a good blocker who helps in the run game. He also runs good routes and catches the ball well. Hatton should be in line for a huge Junior season. He picked up an offer in 2023 from UNLV I am not sure if that offer still stands, but regardless, Hatton is a good player who should have a good chance at getting recruited to play College Football.
I am extremely humbled and blessed to announce my first Division 1 offer from The University of Las Vegas. Words can't describe how excited I am! 🏈 @unlvfootball @BrennanMarion4 @PA_TodaySports @210ths @CoachAmeer @PRZPAvic @Orndoff8471 #GCTnb pic.twitter.com/0wZiC60NKZ

has power 4 size. To sum things up, this is just a straight old-school ball player. At TE he’s a road grader with some flashes as a solid receiver in the short game. But on defense, he’s big with long arms. He’s violent and presses out defenders to make a tackle. Hatton is stronger than many of the kids he plays against and has no issue running through blockers. UNLV gave Tyler his first offer back in December, and he’s someone who will only gain more and more traction nationally. But as for PA football, he’s one of the best in his class and my favorite DE I’ve watched so far.

3.8 GPA. 6’4, 240 pounds. Burst onto the scene at West Allegheny after a fantastic freshmen campaign. Received a UNLV offer out of Brennan Marion and staff back in 2023. An FCS offer out of Robert Morris was also received as an underclassman.
I can’t provide a proper evaluation, yet I will still honor Hatton’s previous recruiting heat despite Hatton missing the entirety of his sophomore year. I have a good feeling he’ll bounce back next Fall better than ever.

was one of the most consistent players at the showcase. He has the rare ability to have strength and athleticism and to use it well at defensive line. He gets off the ball quickly and this gives him an edge against offensive linemen. Hatton showed he is a legit defensive lineman at the showcase.

had a good Freshman year for West Allegheny playing defensive line and tight end. You do not see too many freshmen who are physically developed as much as Hatton is. Hatton is a good size standing 6’4 inches tall. Hatton has good strength and it shows at the point of attack At defensive end and tight end he shows good strength by engaging with other sides of the ball and controlling that player. Specifically, at the defensive end, he does a good job of using his hands to get on offensive linemen and then ripping through them. At tight end, he shows a good ability to block on the edge. Hatton also caught the ball well from the tight end position. Hatton showed good skills last year and should only grow from last year.

Has a robust, ten-minute-long tape showcasing what we thought we’d see from a prospect with a ton of pre-season hype surrounding his name. Varsity player, starts off his tape releasing from an in-line alignment, navigates through the linebacking core, runs a corner route for a touchdown. Very next rep, Hatton is seen bull-rushing a tackle deep into the pocket, extending and shedding to close on a QB for a sack. This is extensive experience and production for a young man who will fly up our ranks. Seen stalk-blocking while being split out wide and moving kids way off the ball. Has a couple of awesome pancakes while impact blocking as a backside TE. Love how creative WA is with this kid, not much is off-limits, which speaks to how quickly Hatton has earned trust out of his coaches. This is some of the better tape I’ve plugged into out of any 2027 in the state. Is an only-a-matter-of-time type prospect.

Hatton, who also impressed as a tight end on the offensive side of the ball, was picked to compete in the best on best competition at the end of the camp as a defensive lineman. The 6-foot-3, 215 pounder was really good as a defensive end who battled with

all camp long. He had a nice first step up field off the snap and when he was able to get extension with his long arms, he did well in the rep.
