Spell will try and predict where you try to meet him to make a tackle, and 9.9/10 times he’s already got a move planned to keep his run going. Early on in his highlight tape it looked like he was dead to rights in the backfield, but Spell remained patient and just hit a quick pause to throw the defender off turning a potential loss on the play into a huge gain. Penn State is going to be getting a very potent runner in a few years.
