Week Three Preview: Ridgeline at Brighton

This should be an exciting game with polar opposites of offensive philosophy. Ridgeline wants to make it a fast paced breakaway type of game, whereas Brighton wants to slow it down, consume clock and eat up yards on the ground. Both defenses are strong and it makes it for a fascinating showdown of styles. Let's break down some key players from both teams.   Ridgeline:    Dahle is an exciting signal caller and he's using his legs more this year to keep defenses off balanced and forcing the opposing backers to stay put. As a passer, he has great ball placement, showcases the ability to lead his receivers open and will layer his throws. He's set up with a stout offensive line and key players to distribute to. The offense is dictated by his processing, which is great. He'll have the Ridgeline offense humming.     Fiefia will be an important part as with his size, if he can get crucial first downs on key run plays. He shows good hands and to be effective as a pass catcher. His contact balance and power as a runner will come into play against Brighton.     Livingston is an exceptional receiver who is quick off the line and finds multiple ways to get open. Shaded coverage towards his side will not effect him as he'll still get open. He does well creating with the ball in his hands and is a player that is strong at the catch point and tracks the ball well.     Leishman will be important as the second option against Brighton. His effectiveness will allow the rest of the offense to flow. He shows good size, is good as a contested catcher and has good physicality to his game.     Krew is an exceptional athlete and a game changer. As an edge rusher, he is explosive off the line, has great lateral quickness, has violent hands, and great speed to go with his size. He'll be tasked to get to the signal caller and disrupt the Brighton offense.     Knighton has good speed and size. He could be a player tasked to have an effect on the passing game and could be a key part as an attacking backer. His instincts and reactionary skills will have him be a key player against Brighton.     Perkins has the speed to add pressure on the pass game and to blow up the run game for Brighton. He shows good ability to shed his blocks and pursue the ball carrier. His skillset will be important on Friday night.     Woodland has good size and with Brighton having length at the wide outside, his physicality will play at pivotal role in stopping the pass game from getting off the ground.    Brighton    Palepoi is best as a downfield passer when he can attack the defense vertically. He has good ball placement and good overall arm talent. The Ridgeline defense is fast and likes to get upheld, so if Brighton draws up plays for receivers to get downfield, Palepoi will have a big day.     Staton possesses good size and is a physical runner. He does well seeing run lanes develop and has the lateral quickness to get to the second level. He has good contact balance, and shows the speed to get to the edge and will lower his pads to finish off his run.     Judah has become a volume runner who is effective at gaining net positive yards when the expectations are for a loss. He does a good job of finding any little crease and creating on his own. He will get small through the first level and has good vision to fall forward and pick up yards to move the chains.     Taylor has great size and has been a good target. His large catch radius and strong hands allow him to come down with key targets and to move the chains. He's a player that has developed into the top target for Brighton.     Little is a versatile player who can play any of the defensive backs and as an off-ball backer. He has good size, shows the ability to be physical and closes ground well. Little is an exceptional talent and will be looking to create havoc against Ridgeline.     Caleb has made an impact as a freshman and he emerged last week. He shows good size, is physical and already has good size. He is explosive, is quick laterally and a violent player. He'll look to help the Brighton defense stymie Ridgeline's offense.     AJ is another freshman whose made an impact early on and as a corner he possesses good hips, has the athletic movement and speed to stick to receivers and is a cornerback that showcases good instincts and not afraid to get dirty. He'll be tasked to help stymie the passing attack for Ridgeline.    That was our look at Ridgeline vs Brighton.
