Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Woodland has good size and with Brighton having length at the wide outside, his physicality will play at pivotal role in stopping the pass game from getting off the ground.

Woodland is an athletic, versatile player who can be lined up anywhere. Offensively, he is used as a boundary receiver, and he does a good job of being a big-play threat when he gets snaps on that side of the ball. His home is on defense, and he is used as an off-ball backer and safety hybrid. He’ll likely slot in as a defensive back at the next level, but where he is at right now, he can be lined up anywhere, and is that STAR hybrid role where he can move around pre-snap and create havoc.

Woodland is an exciting athlete with good size. He lined up as a safety, outside linebacker, edge rusher, and offensively as a wide receiver. Woodland is a physical player with quick reactionary skills. I project him as a safety at the next level as he has excellent range with an explosive first step and has good vision and active hands to make a play on the ball. Woodland is an athletic playmaker who isn’t afraid to be a box safety and help out in run support and rushing the quarterback. He does a good job at shedding blockers and getting to the ball carrier. Woodland is a player that should get recruited regionally.
