Kirby was lights out to start the year and absolutely torched Martinsville. He had 5 first half TDs and threw for 400 yards on the night. He was throwing guys open, hitting them in stride, and getting the ball out quick. His 407 yards and 5 passing TDs both led the state in week 1 and he looked as poised as ever. To put together that type of efficiency and production right out of the gate makes for a very impressive Week 1.

Callison and Northrop were out to make a statement in week 1, it's just disappointing people in the stands can't behave and had the game canceled. Despite half the game getting shut down, Northrop was torching New Haven. Callison was 13 for 18 with 295 yards and 5 TDs. His comfort in this offense is night and day to where it was when he first arrived. He gives Northrop a legit chance to compete and good as looked on Friday, I'm excited to see them moving forward.

Hollendonner came out and backed up his status as the current #1 overall recruit in the 2028 class. They understand his strengths and do a good job putting him in position to succeed. He threw for 246 yards and 6 touchdowns with just a single incompletion. It's only the start of the season, but he looked efficient and in control the whole way. After what he showed as a freshman, this opener felt like he picked up right where he left off.

Klee was in control from the opening snap and never looked rushed. He made quick reads, threw with good accuracy, and completed 72% of his passes. By the end of the night, he finished with 301 yards and 3 touchdowns, continuing to move the offense downfield and putting points on the board. It was a clean Week 1 performance that set the tone, and with the home opener next week, he looks ready to keep the momentum going.

Tolle looked great in Week 1 and showed real growth from his freshman year. He's got an easy throwing motion with good arch on the ball and doesn't force throws into trouble. He completed 64% of his passes for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns, adding another 50 yards on the ground. The efficiency stood out, and it felt like a continuation of the progress he made last year. With this kind of start, Tolle looks ready to take another step forward as the season goes on.
