Klee had to pay his dues, work hard, and grind just for the opportunity to start as a senior, and he did not waste it. I wish I could have gotten to see more than 10 games of him starting, but what he showed is hard to ignore. He’s someone who can play off script and make something happen when things break down. He keeps his eyes downfield and will step up to make a throw. He’s not easy to bring down and can sense when the pressure is closing in. He completed 60.6% of his throws for 2454 yards and 20 TDs on the year. He then added 217 yards and another TD on the ground.

Klee was in control from the opening snap and never looked rushed. He made quick reads, threw with good accuracy, and completed 72% of his passes. By the end of the night, he finished with 301 yards and 3 touchdowns, continuing to move the offense downfield and putting points on the board. It was a clean Week 1 performance that set the tone, and with the home opener next week, he looks ready to keep the momentum going.

Klee is an incredible overall athlete for his size and not only sees the field well, but his defensive experience also helps him out. We’re looking at a guy who had 120 tackles and 8 TFLs last year, but is finally getting his chance to start at QB. The promise and potential are there. He’s got a good arm, and his ball placement is excellent. He won the MVP award by being the last man standing in the accuracy competition. He’s unknown in the QB world, but if he performs up to his potential, he’ll become a name people know.
