St. Augustine continues to tout some of the better offensive line, in terms of individual prospects at least, across our state. This legacy continues with that of [player_tooltip player_id='1250901' first='Ethan' last='Muller']. A guard, we see that Muller does a great job of blocking back/down, getting body-to-body and securing his gap assignment. I also thought that Muller did an awesome job of getting hip-to-hip on double teams, eliminating nay space for the defender to eek through. Lastly, Muller seems to take pride when pulling, working and grinding in the hole as if he was a running back himself, plugging away in service to others.

If Franklin football is going to have a resurgence, the defensive play of [player_tooltip player_id='1305449' first='Maurice' last='Langford'] will be a big part of it. Langford understands that he must fight to maintain his gap, as seen when he works the arm-over to reclaim what gap should be his. Additionally, Langford as embodied the importance of team pursuit, as he will chase ball carriers all over the field for the sake of his team. As a pass defender this linebacker who cracked the top 50 at his position will get his hands/arm in the mix to break up and defend passes; while also proving to be a good leverage/roll tackler.

With the requisite size to play the position, skills that show upside and promise, as well as a coach as a father, I can see [player_tooltip player_id='1535480' first='Dylan' last='Chiera'] breaking out in a big way this fall. Chiera's release and motion is smooth and effortless, delivering a highly catchable ball. He does this without sacrificing distance and loft on his throws in the deep, vertical passing game. Mechanically I was left with the impression that he is very sound, planting off of his front foot. The benefactor of clean protection, Chiera seems apt at throwing fades, comebacks, verts, and back shouler throws.

Off of the heels of a successful season that saw the East Orange Jaguars finish one game away from playing for a state championship, a defensive anchor in [player_tooltip player_id='1201349' first='Abdoul' last='Kafando'] is back. Kafando is a tough hitter, laying into bak carriers like a ton of bricks - a mentality he also carries with him on kickoff. Kafando will advance forward at the snap of the ball to prioritize run support first. Effectively plugging holes, Kafando is sent on blitzes and often forces bounces by taking away his gaps; on the other hand, when he does get through the hole he breaks down to ensure textbook-wrapped tackles.

[player_tooltip player_id='1105220' first='Joey' last='Korcak'] adds to the list of Ramsey receivers who are quality, college-ready prospects. Korcak has a very good burst off the line and runs well through the phases of his route and with the ball in his hands. This speed and ability to blaze would be worthless if he could not track the deep ball - which is something that he does extremely well. I also thought that Korcak uses his hands to catch the ball more times than not. There is a slight sink of the hips on sharper-breaking routes, but make no mistake about it: Korcak wins with speed.
