<p>To the best of my knowledge, I know two things to be true when it comes to player rankings. First, Prep Redzone is the industry leader in state-by-state depth when it comes to rankings. Second, Prep Redzone New Jersey – <em>specifically</em> – is the unabashed leader in sharing our evaluation ranking notes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><tbody><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476858' first='Luca' last='Donofrio'] QB Middletown South</td><td>Has 4 individual game highlights, need to make one highlight tape; watched only 1 film; uses a shoulder fake/open to influence defenders; release is quick; holds ball high near his ear; makes correct read in zone option; carries ball low when running wiht it; throws a good, catchable ball; think he goes with his first read, receiver tends to be near a lot of opposite color; makes it look easy like pitch and catch more; need to see more film</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1036992' first='Lucas' last='Burgos'] 5'9" 155 DB New Egypt</td><td>Safety, takes packpedal; allows him to get full head of steam; uses the body to break up pass attempts; a bit late to run support, even in the alley; plays really far back; better than average tackler; not tested deep or in man on film</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1642052' first='Luke' last='Dolan'] 6'8" 285 OL Summit</td><td>Left tackle, tilts head as to where he is going; a bit slow out of his stance when the ball is snapped; plays with very good pad level for someone his height; want to see him refit hands and keep his head up when blocking - head/eyes down he can hurt himself; has tremendous power, can check someone all the way into the center ond own blocks; base waivers, needs to keep it and will stop feet at times; want to see quicker feet; limited pass protection clip - in his best one he worked to refit hands against a more static, thicker player; curious to see how his feet move in space and powering down</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='736705' first='Luke' last='Wafle'] 6'6" 245 DL The Hun School</td><td>Good get off, works power up and into his matchup to work them backwards; quick off the ball and makes quick movements; you see his body start to have an hpward bend; hand fights well, hazs closing speed; love his speed into power; rushes a full man - want to see him attack half a man; good angles and keeps contain; drives his body through the man when making contact; if he does not get to the quarterback, he afects a lot of throws and rushes them; feet canc ontinue working when enagaged with the man; actually fast enough to beat kickout blockers, gets around them, blows up play, rather than wrong arm and spill; works to refit hands, working them upward and in when playing at the line</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1476847' first='Malik' last='Pharmes'] 5'8" 170 RB Manchester Township</td><td>Does whatever he can to keep force on defense; looks to enjoy contact and will ower shoulder; plays like a big bodied back when running, likes to barrel players over; shrugs off high tackles; needs to transition eyes from QB to WR when covering</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1281470' first='Markeith' last='Carr'] 5'7" 165 LB Washington Township</td><td>Can insert B gap from C gap in space to stop run; too patient on stretch plays toward him; gets hands on and rides receivers going out until he passes them off effectively; played some corner, rotates and gets to boundary well; sufficiently plays his force responsibility; a bit aggressive when blocked on perimeter, fights to inside out, rather him fight to the outside</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1530071' first='Mason' last='Gonzalez'] 6'0" 220 DL Ramsey</td><td>Linebacker that is thick and sturdy; good tackler, wraps well and clutches, gets low when he can; almost acts like an additional lineman in space, rushes and defends the run with a head start; uses hands to push off and shed blocks of lineman coming at him; great movement when doubling his opponent on the line of scrimmage; can get a good push on blocking too; best when he is sent down hill and not asked to read too much, do not want him moving laterally too much, it slows him down and takes away what he is good at; could see him as a stacked backer in a 33, a nose, or a 4i in college</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1264390' first='Mason' last='Kamil'] 5'10" 235 OL Seton Hall Prep</td><td>Center, strong enough to wrangle some matchups, does not move feet all the time on drive; snap and steps well, can get his feet moving laterally very well at times; very good at recepcing a bump on double teams and coming off to next level; want to see more immediate drive on double teams; seems to understand head placmenet/sealing angles very well; head is on a swivel to pick up threats when uncovered in pass protection; very sound prospect</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1557296' first='Matt' last='Boisits'] 5'10" 185 RB Glen Rock</td><td>Forward lean when he runs; has to slow down, not sink, when changing direction; a bigger back; runs somewhat upright; take take a shot up top and seem unaffected when rushing the ball; carries ball way too low does not secure it</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1278652' first='Matt' last='Rausch'] 6'1" 185 QB Notre Dame</td><td>Can move in the pocket to evade and sense danger; throw is a bit of a wind up and throw; want to see more mustard on his arm; throws are on the man where they are, not much for YAC throws - guys get tackled almost immediately after completing the throw; forced to flush and move a lot, very flew clips of him wiht a clean pocket; with a clean open, sees things clearly and elivers the ball; wonder if he has a sped up internal clock due to pressure and moving</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1522214' first='Matteo' last='Tramutola'] 6'0" 205 RB Voorhees</td><td>Gets his feet up some to breka tackles; does not carry PAP or screen fakes that hard; lowers shoulder to pick up yardage ne heeds; tries to pin the ball, it is in position, just does not look braced; makes running stops, then gallops in the hole to make a cut; athletic, probably not a back in college</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1530237' first='Matthew' last='McGuigan'] 6'0" 205 LB Brick Township</td><td>Does not really break down before tackling, goes full speed and tries to make things happen; does not extend to create separation when sent on a blitz, soft of bounces and pinballs through; longer, crossing routes against players with a head of steam he can get beat on</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1305449' first='Maurice' last='Langford'] 5'10" 170 LB Franklin</td><td>Can get bumped off the line on reach plays, works arm over to recover and fight to set an edge; pursuit want to see him keep his target shoulder to force cutbacks; gets hands in the mix when defending the pass; does not get hdown himm immediately, takes a hop step and then goes; needs to squeeze with more authority and purpose; leverage roll tackles well;</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1101263' first='Max' last='Hoerter'] 6'4" 245 OL Ramsey</td><td>Left tackle, great movement on double teams with his adjacent guard; does not put hand in the dirt, plays from a 2 point stance; communicates pre snap at the line; extends hands, would prefer to see him fight to refit leverage; plays a bit high , needs more bend - you see his base get wide, although he does maintain it; gets good movement</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1546495' first='Max' last='Minervini'] 6'2" 190 DL Morris Knolls</td><td>Works hard to press shoulder of matchup, fights to get his hands above his eyes; has shown a burst, not all the time though; want to see him rush half man more frequently; best at fighting the reach and stringing plays out, gets a lot of separation; has shown quickness to get hands on and squeeze down the line; inconsistent violence at the line, but has shown it; has slithered out of double teams; solid player, ranking could go up senior year</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1521427' first='Maximus' last='Pelzer'] 6'2" 175 WR/DB Notre Dame</td><td>Can high point the ball on a deep route; has only shown one speed on film; plays scramble drill well; tries to snap hip on sink routes, consisitently does it; uses hands very well, does not catch the ball into his body; can make sliding catches; ok wiggle, think against poor opponents</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='212396' first='Mekhi' last='Armour'] 6'1" 180 ATH Weequahic</td><td>Receiver with long legs that can stride; catches the ball in stride and tracks it over his shoulder well; snaps hips well enough to create sudden space atop his route; corner, must be more disciplined to keep firce responsibility;; long frame allows him to defend balls you would not expect your average player to; an arm tackler; athletic enough to bite inside and recover; runs high when possessing the ball; a bit raw, but very athletic; truly could play either side of the ball</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1551135' first='Mekhi' last='Cottle'] 5'11" 195 RB Willingboro</td><td>Lowers shoulder to break tackles; can string together multiple moves in a row to rip of gainers; has a slightly faster second gear; does not pin the ball to his body; very acrobatic and ahs balance when he runs; uses stiff arm; has ver ygood cut back vision to weave through defenders; unsure of the level of competition he has faced; uses spin move against over pursuers and to spin against leverage of a tackler to break it; kind of stops and goes without breaking down; somewhat upright a runner</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1466362' first='Mekhi' last='Garrett'] 6'0" 160 WR Warren Hills</td><td>Has open field vision, can and will cut across the grain; has a forward lean when running near danger; used a lot in end-arounds; routes are not exactly percise; can absorb a hit and maintain contact through the ground; uses hands to catch the ball most of the time, will go up for it; can get redirected easily with a bumb by a handsy defender; does not pin the ball for as much has he runs with it near contact; routes need to have fakes/sink hips</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1105228' first='Messiah' last='Archer'] 5'9" 155 ATH Bound Brook</td><td>Can evade the rush and keeps eyes downfield to complete the throw; kickoff returner; can make multiple people miss and get back across the field, benefits from poor lanes and bad vice tackles; played some reciever; looks like his team's most athletic player, asked to do a lot;</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>
