An interior tackle, Hywell is too quick and twitchy in tight spaces, showcasing the epitome of what it means to win in a phone booth. Hywell likes the swim move and does a nice job squeezing when unblocked, allowing him to take a flat path to the ball carrier. His speed and quickness reveals itself again as he is extremely effective when running line stunts. Fighting the reach we see him hit a nice rip to penetrate his gap, running off the block. I would describe Hywell as a nifty player and a pass rush specialist.

There is something about the culture of Summit football that produces quality, well-coached prospects. [player_tooltip player_id='1532333' first='Anthony' last='Trujillo'] is yet another name to that extensive list. Trujillo is an end who works moves well when asking to penetrate the inside gap. Like it is taught in the textbook, we see him stack an offensive lineman's heels. Relatively, when he is disengaging with blocks he is very good at using the rip move. I also admired how valiantly Trujillo presses his aligned-man on double teams, feel leverage, and spin back against it to pressure quarterbacks; in the same breath, he does a great job of holding the point of attack to avoid getting washed. In terms of pass rushing, we see Trujillo hit the Eurostep, inside-out, on his way to attack the quarterback's throwing arm. Lastly, he is showing flashes of playing with his hands above his eyes and his get off is equal that of the offensive linemen's when it is at its best.

The first of two Camden edge players in this article is [player_tooltip player_id='1642043' first='Elijah' last='Satchell']. Satchell has length to his frame that allows him to effectively play the surf technique; while when working in-line blockers, Satchell gets his hands above his eyes. Moreover, Satchell has shown flashes of power when executing the long arm-to-hump move to beat his man. At his best, Satchell keeps his feet moving while being engaged with the man in front of him. Blessed with closing speed, Satchell breathes down the collar of ball carriers and takes outstanding pursuit angles when he has to redirect. What is most enticing about Satchell, however, is what he can be. Another raw prospect, Satchell is one that colleges ought to get an eye on and dream about what they can do for his defense under their tutelage.

Bookending Satchell on the other end of the defense's edge is [player_tooltip player_id='914711' first='Haleem' last='Muhammad']. Muhammad does an outstanding job of timing the snap and taking advantage of it. As you might expect, his 6'5" frame allows his strides to gain a lot of ground as he encroaches on the other side of scrimmage. What he seems to have mastered, however, is using those strides to beat his opponent to a spot, force the quarterback to step up, and then close in on him back upfield. I also like how Muhammad broke down when things were cloudy against read option, relying on his quickness to get him back in position to make a play - the same quickness that makes him nearly impossible to hold. Simply put, Muhammad's pure athleticism allows him to dominate on the field.

Class of 2026 Rankings Update Coverage

Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part I
Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part II
Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part III
Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part IV
Defensive Line Film Room, Part I
Linebacker Film Room, Part I
Quarterback Film Room, Part I
Wide Receiver Film Room, Part I

Film is one of the best tools to self-scout, evaluate, and improve. As is the case with any rankings update, we want to celebrate and highlight select prospects who had some really nice film and talk about their game. That said kill the lights, close the blinds, and turn the projector on and join me, as we prepare to enter the film room to discuss what I saw on film.
