can adjust to under thrown balls well; typically does not play on the line, maybe he is suspectable to getting pressed? see a slight sink in hips on returns; will lay out for the ball and can high point it as well; mostly uses hands; film does not show him on the line or pressed; does not take more than 1 person to bring him to the ground</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1514636' first='Jennaro' last='Percodani'] 5'9" 175 LB Marlboro</td><td>Very good at bailing to his drop, gets his head around in time to see things happen in front of him; reads keys effectively enough to make plyas in the hole occasionally; questionable speed to the sideline; strong and has enough leverage to slant across a face, or into the gap; have not seen him use hands to disengage with blockers; tackling is ok</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1513542' first='Jeremiah' last='Russell'] 6'0" 145 DB Bridgeton</td><td>Punt returner, must move back more with the ball; can make defenders miss and has some vision to make subtle cut; can take the end around to the house; safety, really flies down hill and will hit/wrap/drive/dump a ball carrier; looks his fastest on returns and on defense; a bit stuck in the middle when facing slant/flat combo; played scrambling quarterback; rocks and cradles the ball, does not tuck it or pin it; stay sin back pedal well and looks comfortable; hips can get around; opportunistic and beneficiary of many poor throws; has a second speed he can achieve</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='309537' first='Jeremiah' last='Tirado'] 5'9" 165 ATH Nutley</td><td>Receiver, ues hands to catch and can make people miss in space, has multiple moves; able to run; slot corner/safety type, reads short game and will lay big hit, does not use form; very good ball skills, can high point, use hands, and moss people for the catch; good pursuit,w ill swipe at the ball; comfortable in his back pedal for up to 10-12 yards; gets hips around and bails; release is quick and sudden, loses that burst down field; able to go low when tackling; will lower shoulder for tough yardage</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1522216' first='Jerron' last='Martress'] 6'0" 190 RB High Point</td><td>Slows down, breaks down when changing direction; can cut against the grain to make big gains; follows his track and then makes cuts in the later levels of a defense; will power someone over; hard to judge his speed</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1540902' first='Jerry' last='Targia'] 5'8" 165 LB Cedar Grove</td><td>No need for an 8 minute highlight; safety, drives on the pass and can deliver a well-wrapped hit and dump, or break up the pass attempt with his body; good hitter for a smaller prospect; moved to linebacker later in the season; very good at covering backs out of the backfield; did not see film of him taking his drop and reacting to routes</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1027687' first='Jesse' last='Schratz'] 5'10" 145 ATH Elmwood Park</td><td>Running back; high runner, protects ball as danger looms; not one for hard, sudden cuts, sort of weaves in and out of traffic; runs track well; could not identify him on defensive tape, does not identify himself</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1029758' first='Jeylon' last='Billups'] 5'9" 195 RB Notre Dame</td><td>Can absorb a low hit and bounce off of it, keep upright and keep running; has a forward lean at moments; really thick thighs make him hard to wrap and tackle; can get vertical on a cut, does not have to sink much to do so; pins ball as danger nears him; other than cuts and absorbing tacklers time to time, has not shown many moves; have not seen many clips of him in goal line situations</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1514626' first='Jio' last='Kabiri'] 5'9" 170 LB Jackson Memorial</td><td>Does not need 8 minute film; comfortable taking his drop, needs to take it with a bit more urgency; good reaction to the break of the ball; more fluidity in diagonal drop needed; does not read keys - seen him get misdirected on counter; solid tackler, advantagous because of his height; does a decent job fighting back upfield once hte pocket is set; want to see him keep his head up more fonsistently when tackling; gets touched at the second level</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1057665' first='Joe' last='Squicciarini'] 5'8" 120 K Bridgewater-Raritan</td><td>Ball on 32 yard line, left hash, clears uprights by about 20 yards; hits from either hash with ease; punter; with feet on the 35 gets the ball to opponents 15; gets good hang time, a "fuh" if I am counting Mississippi; able to execute a variety of onside kicks, including pooch, dribbler, directional pop; kickoffs go about 4 yards in the end zone</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1297800' first='Joey' last='Cleaver'] 6'2" 230 LB/TE Shawnee</td><td>Edge linebacker, has enough speed to undercut short throws with a burst; does not move hips that well; can come ff the edge; attacks the ball when zeroing on the quarterback; gets to his zone, but takes a moment; might be best served with his hand in the dirt at next level or a plugging middle line backer; have not seen him get down hill too often; has acceptable speed at high school level to cover backs to the flat</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='735877' first='Joey' last='Gaston'] 5'9" 170 QB The Peddie School</td><td>Might be JV film? cannot tell for certain, sometime slooks liek varsity; can deliver an accurate ball about 40 yards; moves around in the pocket nicely; arm has more zip on it than you might initially think; can get out and motor along the perimeter; will chin the ball as he breaks through the line; throwing motion is a bit elongated; an adequate player who makes good decisions; too small to be a big-time college prospects, despite his game looking good on tape; throws on the run could be more accurate; looks like he is rushing things but is not</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1105220' first='Joey' last='Korcak'] 6'0" WR Ramsey</td><td>Receiver, good burst off of the line; runs hard; looks a bit stocky on film at moments; can get stoned when facing press coverage; tracks deep ball very well; uses hands to catch the ball; sinks hips slightly, not violnently, when breaking stem of route or going for a fake; manages to get behind people without blazing speed</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1546502' first='Joey' last='Sommer'] 6'0" 165 WR Randolph</td><td>Turns shoulders, rather than break hips, when running intermediate routes; has vision to evade defenders in pursuit on angles; can win a fade, does not jump particularly high for it; adjusts to under thrown balls very often and well; can make a grab and pin it to his body awkwardly; a lot of fades and verts on film, want to see more route variety to show his route running ability; does not aways use hands to catch the ball; want to see more on film</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='224516' first='John' last='Lanari'] 6'0" 190 DL St. Joseph Regional</td><td>Fullback/wing type, great at kickout when sent in motion; very good at cracking down on double teamming defensive linemen; pretty physical; really looks to crack his assignment on ends when asked to seal backside; moves a bit high</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1529765' first='Johnathan' last='Kokotis'] 5'8" 165 LB Freehold Township</td><td>Flat footed at times in pass coverage; will hit a gap and make a lay in the backfield; do not see him engage with lineman using his hands; solid opursuit to the sideline; good at timing the count and blitzing; tackling is above average; soft, not committed diagnose step</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='898542' first='Johnnie' last='Parker'] 6'0" 200 LB North Plainfield</td><td>Linebacker; sees his keys but freezes, needs to read and attack; want to see him use hands more when engaging with blockers to he can shed them; have not seen a full force tackle, sort of catches; has dragged down more than rolling when tackling; pursues, hustles to plays way down field; does not tak e diagnose steo; can win off the edge, but needs to keep working after that</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1466636' first='Johnny' last='Vieira'] 5'9" 165 K/P West Morris Central</td><td>Ball on 25 yard line, center hash, clears upright by by 25 yards; ball on 17 yard line, right hash; ball on 18 yard line, make from left hash; kickoff gets ball to about the 2 yard line tight to the corner</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1608095' first='Johnny' last='Williams'] 5'9" 160 WR Red Bank Catholic</td><td>Returner, can make a lateral cut to evade defenders; stiff arm is used; can slow down, change directions, accelerate very well on returns; uses hands to catch; very hard for defenders to tackle him when he slows down and breaks down; adjusts to under thrown ball; shifty, want to see him in the slot; can high point if necessary and toe tap along the sideline; really kills guys when he breaks down and changes direction</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1642050' first='Jojo' last='White'] 6'6" 240 OL Camden</td><td>Tackle, really good kick step, gains a lot of ground; needs more bend, absorbs lower leveraged defenders at times, but has strength to fold them back; fires off the ball even with a false step; appears to have really good upper body strength; long arms use to create space, will use them to chop opponents down; really good looking, lean frame; looks to finish his blocks whenever possible; want to see him power down and use quick, lateral feet a bit more; can seal the second level; tons or raw ability and upside</td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Class of 2026 Rankings Update Coverage</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-i"></a><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-i"></a><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-i">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-ii">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part II</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-iii">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part III</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-iv">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part IV</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-v">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part V</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-vi">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part VI</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/05/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-vii">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part VII</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/05/26-rankings-update-film-evals-for-new-additions-part-viii">Ranking Evaluation Scouting Notes, Part VIII</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/05/26-rankings-update-the-defensive-line-film-room-part-i">Defensive Line Film Room, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-the-linebacker-film-room-part-i">Linebacker Film Room, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-the-quarterback-film-room-part-i">Quarterback Film Room, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/05/26-rankings-update-the-running-back-film-room-part-i">Running Back Film Room, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-the-wide-receiver-film-room-part-i">Wide Receiver Film Room, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-shake-up-within-the-top-150-ranked-part-i">Biggest Rankings Jump, Ranked Prospects, Part I</a><br><a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/26-rankings-update-watchlist-prospects-that-entered-the-top-25">Watchlist Prospects that Entered the Top 25</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
