We're in the middle of a key rankings update before the start of the 2025 season and we've already looked at the players at most of the skill positions. We didn't add many new tight ends and we've actually already written about a few of those we did. Here, I'm focused more on the stock-risers. Let's look at five 2026 TE stock-risers

Jones is a future tight end, but he does it all for Mountain Heritage, including returning kicks, running the ball and making plenty of tackles on defense. He's a perfect fit as an H-Back in Elon's unique offensive system and that is a big reason why we moved him in the rankings. If there's a team that can maximize Jones' potential, it's the Phoenix.

Based on what Union Pines brings back, Tobias could have another huge year. A guy who can operate down the field and in between the numbers, Tobias plays more like a big slot receiver than a true in-line tight end. Don't be fooled by that explanation though, he can block too and he's an incredibly important piece for Union Pines.

Holland had a strong offseason, showcasing his athleticism at multiple camps. He's huge and very new to the position, not really yet figuring out how to work effectively down the field. However, his upside is tremendous and as he continues to learn the position, his athleticism will pay huge dividends.

Rucker is a wide receiver/tight end tweener who plays in-line mostly due to his incredible strength, but will likely be a bigger slot receiver at the next level. He's not the biggest guy, but he's a beast in the weight room who can beat defenses over the middle or underneath. He has a really unique athletic profile and I'm interested to see how a team uses him at the college level.

A transfer to Rolesville and a commitment to Old Dominion characterized Harris' summer, and those things prompted us to consult the film again. Harris' calling card is his ability after the catch, where he almost turns into a massive running back with the ball in his hands. He's able to work deep or short, and we like the variety in his route tree.
