| TE | 6’3” 215 lbs Tobias is a phenomenal athlete who can run, jump, and move like a true all-around playmaker. Quite possibly the most athletic prospect in the county, the Chattanooga commit had a standout offseason. He shined at every camp and 7-on-7 event he attended, consistently proving why he’s one of the area’s top talents.
Based on what Union Pines brings back, Tobias could have another huge year. A guy who can operate down the field and in between the numbers, Tobias plays more like a big slot receiver than a true in-line tight end. Don’t be fooled by that explanation though, he can block too and he’s an incredibly important piece for Union Pines.
Tobias could blow up on the recruiting trail soon and I love his upside and his production. Though he’s a big-bodied receiving tight end, he moves really well, especially laterally, making him lethal in the open field. He also has some versatility, lining up at fullback, H-back, and in the slot, as well as in-line. Union Pines is able to do a lot in both the passing and running game because of his diverse skill set.

, TE/WR – Showtime Elite A matchup nightmare in the middle of the field. Big frame and soft hands made him a reliable target on third down. Also showed surprising agility after the catch.
Despite playing a fullback/H-back role in Union Pines’ offense, Tobias is a key cog that makes the team go. He’s electric with the ball in his hands and sometimes the best play is a simple screen or flat route, letting Tobias’ legs do the rest. He’s a borderline elite tester with a 4.26 laser-timed short shuttle and 315-pound bench press and that athleticism shows up. Because of his limited route tree, we have him listed as a tight end, but in reality, he’s one of those big slot receivers that colleges covet.
