Whether you love it or hate it, the high school transfer process is a part of our game now. The dust has seemingly settled on the wave of transfers, so we're taking the time to break down a few of the impact transfers from across the state. Here, we're locked in on five impact running back transfers.

Five Impact Transfers Wide Receivers To Know

[player_tooltip player_id='651159' first='Braylon' last='Clark'] | Providence Day

Arguably the top intrastate transfer of the offseason, Clark moves over to Charlotte powerhouse Providence Day from Charlotte Country Day. Our top-ranked 2028 prospect regardless of position, Clark has a rare blend of size, route-running, and speed. Providence Day lost some talent from its offense, but has reloaded, and Clark should have a huge junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1892963' first='Londyn' last='McElroy'] | Ambassador Christian

McElroy is set to be one of the top-ranked receivers in the 2027 class when we update rankings in a few weeks. He's blown up on the recruiting trail after a strong junior season with Jay M. Robinson, especially as a big-play threat. He averaged nearly 30 yards per reception, frequently getting over the top of coverages and stretching the field with his superb speed. His speed, size, and ball skills make him an intriguing FBS prospect, a guy who could turn into a productive college player with some more route-running refinement.

[player_tooltip player_id='1678644' first='Shammah' last='Cabell'] | J.H. Rose

Cabell is moving across town to join J.H. Rose after a breakout junior season with D.H. Conley. The multi-faceted receiver caught 64 passes for nearly 750 yards and six touchdowns. Most impressively, 58% of his yardage and four of his six touchdown catches came in his final four games, as he took over down the stretch. Now, the first-team all-conference receiver joins a Rose team that is looking to get back to its winning ways from the late 2010s and early 2020s.

[player_tooltip player_id='1676793' first='Riley' last='Hicks'] | Palisades

Hicks flashed at Ashbrook, but on a ball-control, grind-it-out offense, he didn't put up huge numbers. He's joining a more balanced offensive attack at Palisades, where he should immediately compete for a starting spot on a team that lost its top three receivers. We like the way he moves and think his senior season could be his best as a receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='2099488' first='Zaire' last='Strickland'] | Hough

Strickland had a great freshman season for Clinton, and moves over to one of the most dominant teams in the state in 8A Hough. I'm not sure exactly what the wide receiver rotation will look like, but Strickland has the field-stretching ability to break onto the field in a deep roster. Strickland already possesses great size, and we think he'll continue to grow over the next few years.
