The Tigers have a good group of veterans paired with promising young talent that should have fans in that area excited about this season and beyond. Ward was a state champion in the 100-meter dash this spring, running a sub-11-second time to secure the gold in Class AA. Adkins is a dynamic playmaker out of the slot who's quick and shifty with the ball in his hands. He's a threat to score any time he touches the ball and can be utilized in the screen and quick throw game or take the top of the defense. The raw athleticism is there for Collins and the offense to utilize as an athlete with high-level speed and quickness. As a sophomore, Collins did a nice job at running back and defensive back, but flashed his ability as a pass catcher as a junior before going down with an injury. He converted on 21/22 extra points and 1/2 on field goals as a junior. Ferrell has a smooth, effortless swing on his kicks and gets a high arc on his place kicks. He's a quality athlete who can consistently get to the second level of the defense and block in space.
