Preseason All-State Candidates: Southern Nevada Offense

Previewing some of the top candidates to earn all-state selections ahead of the 2025 season, including an elite cast of 2027 RBs and a mostly new group of offensive linemen looking to earn their first all-state selections.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterback</h2>    Eugenio broke out after taking over the full-time starter role as a junior last season. The Hawaii-commit was a first team All-Southern Nevada selection after throwing for over 2,000 yards and 31 TDs and is in prime position to repeat for all-state and another state title this fall. Eugenio is the state's top-ranked passer coming into the 2025 season.     Thatcher is another returning QB looking to repeat as an all-state selection coming into his junior season with Arbor View. The top-ranked QB in PRZ NV's 2027 class was the most productive passer in the state last season with over 3,200 passing yards and 34 TDs and returns arguably the best receiver room in Nevada this fall. Thatcher has been committed to Utah since March.     Vibabul was the most productive dual-threat QB in the state last season racking up over 1,800 yards and 25 TDs through the air and another 1,300 yards and 11 TDs rushing as a junior. He's one of the most gifted and athletic passers in Nevada and has been one of the biggest offseason recruiting risers adding offers from Temple, Northern Arizona, Army, Navy, and Air Force in recent months. Vibabul is an obvious preseason all-state candidate with the dynamic playmaking he brings to the table for Las Vegas.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Running Back </h2>    Sanelivi will be looking to earn his second straight all-state selection after breaking out as a sophomore with over 800 rushing yards and 12 TDs last season. The #6 overall prospect in the state is one of the elite playmakers in his class with the tape, skillset, and offers to solidify himself as a sure-fire P-4 prospect. Sanelivi has added offers from Washington, Arkansas, BYU, Wisconsin, Michigan St., and others since his standout sophomore season.     Grant is the top returning rusher for the Bishop Gorman offense after splitting backfield reps with two seniors last season. The state's #4 overall prospect should see plenty of opportunities behind what should be an elite offensive line unit and possesses the size, athleticism, and skillset to end his junior season among the state's most productive rushers. Grant is one of the most heavily recruited prospects in his class holding offers from Ohio St., Oklahoma, Miami, and Texas A&M.     Williams is coming off a breakout sophomore season in which he averaged over 100 rushing yards per game for a total of 842 yards and 8 TDs. The talented playmaker out of Desert Pines picked up his first D-I offer from Sacramento St. in May and has all the speed and athleticism to follow up his sophomore breakout with another productive campaign in the fall. Look for Williams to eclipse the 1,000 yard rushing mark this season and be in contention for an all-state selection in 2025.     Wilson established himself as one of the most electric playmakers out of the backfield rushing for over 1,200 yards and 14 TDs as a junior. Canyon Springs' explosive running back earned second team all-state honors with his productive sophomore campaign and should be set up for another high-volume season in the fall. Wilson is one of several junior RBs holding potential to finish as Vegas' leading rusher in 2025.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Wide Receiver</h2>    Williams will be looking for his second straight all-state selection after recording 800+ receiving yards and 11 TDs on 55 catches as a junior. The Sacramento St.-commit is one of the most skilled wideouts in the state and has been a top producing receiver in his class each year since his freshman season. With one of the top QBs in the state returning to lead a pass-heavy attack, Williams is positioned extremely well to repeat as an all-state WR selection in the fall.     The top overall prospect in Nevada's 2027 class is another young playmaker looking to repeat as an all-state selection in the fall. Arbor View's elite junior talent put together a strong sophomore season despite missing some time due to injury and should be due for a highly productive campaign in 2025 with the explosive playmaking he brings to the table. Totaled 584 yards and 5 TDs on 35 catches last season. Warren is one of the most coveted wideouts in the country holding 25+ P-4 offers.     Pride has been one of the biggest offseason recruiting risers adding nine D-I offers since January before announcing his commitment to San Diego St. this month. He put together a strong junior season totaling 572 receiving yards and 7 TDS on just 32 catches in the fall. Now up around 6'3", Pride is a top contender to earn all-state honors with the physical skillset and explosive playmaking he brings to the table.     Thomas comes into his junior season with Centennial as the top-ranked ATH in his class after posting 800 receiving yards and 9 TDs for the 5A D-III state champions last season. He's continued to put his name on the D-I radar with standout performances on the offseason circuit along with adding offers from UTEP, Northern Arizona, Nevada, Colorado St., and Sacramento St. this year. Packs a rare blend of length, athleticism, and receiver skillset and is solidified as one of the most explosive wideouts in the state. Thomas is a sure-fire contender for all-state honors in 2025.     Watson is Bishop Gorman's top returning receiving threat after leading the offense in receptions with 25 for 467 yards and 3 TDs as a junior. The fifth-ranked WR in PRZ NV's 2026 rankings is one of the most underrated prospects in the state and is primed for a true breakout on the recruiting trail with a productive senior season in the fall. Watson should continue to operate as one the top options in the Gaels' passing attack this season and could vault himself into the all-state conversation in 2025.     Bonnett earned second team all-state honors with his breakout junior season for Foothill. Caught 41 passes for 900 yards and 6 TDs in the fall. He's an explosive playmaker on the perimeter that put his ability to challenge defenses vertically and downfield skillset on display while averaging 22 yards per catch last season. Bonnett just picked up his first offer from Minnesota Duluth this offseason and has all the tools and ability to put himself in the first team all-state conversation in 2025.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Tight End</h2>    Fares established himself as one of the top TE prospects in the country and as a high-level receiving option for the position in his breakout sophomore season for Arbor View. The 6'5"/210 junior earned first team all-state honors after totaling 600 receiving yards and 3 TDs on 35 catches in the fall. He's a well-rounded TE and a clear-cut favorite to repeat as an all-state performer with the receiving production he brings to the Aggies' offense. Fares holds over 25 P-4 offers including Texas, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon, and USC.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">ATH</h2>    Pollard comes into his senior season as one of the most dynamic playmakers in the state and the top-ranked ATH in his class. The Washington-commit totaled over 1,250 yards of offense and 12 total TDs as both a receiving and backfield weapon. Brings elite speed and elusiveness to the Clark offense. Pollard committed to Washington over other offers from Arizona St., Minnesota, and BYU.     Williams is one of the top two-way players in the state and could be in contention for an all-state selection on either side of the ball as a WR and DB. He's a physical athlete at 6'1"/195 that showed his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands as a junior and should be due for more opportunities as the top returning playmaker for Green Valley's offense. Williams could earn his first all-state selection with a productive senior season in the fall.     Daniel will be looking for his second straight all-state selection after earning second team honors as a junior. He led SAL's offense in both rushing and receiving with over 1,700 total yards and 21 total TDs last season. Daniel should see plenty of opportunities to produce another strong season with the volume he sees and the playmaking he brings to the offense.    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Offensive Line</h2>    Harris has been a massive riser on the offseason recruiting trail after adding over 25 P-4 offers since January. The massive 6'8"/315 offensive lineman is the most complete OL prospect in the state with the combination of size, power, and athleticism he brings to the trenches. Harris committed to Washington last month and will be looking to earn his first all-state honors this fall.     Pena is set up to take over one of the many OL spots left by last season's elite senior group that each earned first team all-state honors. The 6'6"/275 IOL had been flying under the recruting radar up until picking up his first offer from UNLV in May and should add to that list with his first full season as a starter for the Gaels in the fall. Pena is a top contender to earn his first all-state selection coming into his senior year.     Blakeley was a second team all-state selection after establishing himself as one of the most violent and physical blockers in his class last season. The 6'6"/320 senior picked up his first offer from Hawaii in May and has impressed our PRZ NV scouts at several offseason events in recent months. Look for Blakeley to jump into first team all-state contention this season.     Tausinga is another Bishop Gorman offensive lineman that's waited his turn to be a starter behind last season's elite senior group and will be looking to earn his first all-state selection in the fall. The 6'4"/320 senior picked up his first couple offers from UNLV and Sacramento St. this offseason and should continue to add to that list with a strong senior season. Tausinga is a top candidate for a breakout season in 2025.     Pollard took over the top offensive lineman spot in PRZ NV's 2027 rankings after transferring back to Nevada from California. The 6'4"/290 IOL holds three D-I offers from Arizona, Colorado St., and Sacramento St. and should quickly establish himself as one of the top offensive lineman in the state with his play on the field this fall. Pollard is a sure-fire candidate to earn his first Nevada all-state selection.     Pollard is an offensive lineman on the rise after picking up his first set of offers from Cal, UNLV, New Mexico, Idaho, and Sacramento St. this offseason. He's a massive body at 6'6"/350 that should have no problem dominating the trenches for Foothill this fall. Pollard- the #2 OL in PRZ NV's 2027 rankings- is a top OL prospect to watch in 2025.     Bryant will be looking to earn his second all-state selection after being named to the second team as a sophomore. The 6'5"/300 junior out of Centennial is one of the more underrated offensive linemen in the state and just picked up his first D-I offer from Sacramento St. in June. Bryant possesses all the physical tools to put himself in the first team all-state territory in the fall.
