Daniel will be looking for his second straight all-state selection after earning second team honors as a junior. He led SAL’s offense in both rushing and receiving with over 1,700 total yards and 21 total TDs last season. Daniel should see plenty of opportunities to produce another strong season with the volume he sees and the playmaking he brings to the offense.

Daniel racked up 137 rushing yards and 4 TDs on just seven carries in Losee’s 61-0 victory over Rancho in the first round of the 4A Desert playoffs. The #8-ATH in PRZ NV’s 2026 class produced a highlight play on a 56-yard TD run where he showed his elusiveness and ability to make defenders miss in space. Daniel is among Nevada’s leading rushers with over 1,200 yards and 16 TDs on the season. #2-Losee hosts #3-Cimarron-Memorial in the 4A Desert semifinals this Friday.

Friday night features a monster matchup between Somerset Losee and Mojave High School. A possible 4A state championship preview and the battle for the number seed are on the line. Somerset Losee will rely heavily on junior running back Kieren Daniel who has a big-time year on the ground. Daniel is a dynamic playmaker who can change the game on the ground and as a receiver. Daniel already has over 1000 yards this season ranking him 3rd in Nevada for rushing yards.

Daniel has been Nevada’s most productive rusher with nearly 1,000 yards rushing and 8 TDs through SAL’s first four games. The 6’1/180 ATH is one of the most dynamic playmakers in Nevada’s 2026 class and a weapon the Lions’ coaching staff smartly looks to get the ball in the hands of on a consistent basis. He shows speed and wiggle with the ball in his hands, is effective as a receiver, and navigates tight areas around the LOS with vision and patience. Daniel is one of the top athletes to watch in Nevada’s 4A division.

The class of 2026 RB had a dominating performance to lead Losee past #A powerhouse Boulder City in a nail-biting 20-19 game. Daniel took over with 227 yards on 25 carries and 2 touchdowns. The video game numbers were produced by Daniel’s elite vision, patience, and speed out of the backfield along with Losee’s system offensively.

Daniel averaged nearly 10 YPC on his way to 227 rushing yards and 2 TDs and returned a punt for a TD in SAL’s 20-19 win over Boulder City. The junior playmaker is setting the early-season rushing pace with just under 550 yards and 6 TDs in SAL’s 2-1 start. Daniel continues to establish himself as one of the most dominant playmakers in 4A.

Daniel followed up his dynamic week zero performance (232 total yards, 2 TDs) with another strong showing in SAL’s 41-0 win over Eldorado on Friday. The versatile junior rushed for 183 yards and 3 TDs on just 10 carries and returned a punt for a TD. He’s a patient ball-carrier and a smooth, fluid athlete that can turn a sliver of space into an explosive play. Daniel is on pace to finish among the state’s top rushing producers this season.

Daniel picked up where he left off last season pacing SAL’s offense with 16 rushes for 132 yards and a TD and caught 4 passes for 100 yards and another TD in their 24-23 loss to Virgin Valley last Friday. He’s a versatile, all-purpose playmaker that showed his speed, vision, and slick elusiveness with the ball in his hands. He also contributed 7 tackles on defense from his CB spot. Daniel- who totaled over 1,200 yards on the ground as a sophomore- should continue to produce at a high level as the primary offensive weapon for SAL’s offense. 

Kieren has been an elite athlete with great change of direction speed since his middle school years with the Henderson Cowboys. Kieren is in a great system to highlight his ball carrier skills playing for a triple option team and will look to take on the majority of carries in his junior campaign. With Kieran’s size and speed, he will begin to jump onto several D1 radars as a running back recruit.
