2027 PRZPA Rankings Update, Which PA RBs raised their Rank?

<span style="font-weight: 400">The 2027 Rankings were posted just hours ago! Our staff has plenty of analysis on the way to complement the release!</span> <span style="font-weight: 400">Below is a simple look at the names of players who moved up the ranks due to advancement in their skill-set, size, and overall performance:</span> <ul> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='952746' first='Kemon' last='Spell'] | RB | McKeesport <ul> <li>First time earning a top overall ranking on our site, long overdue if I'm being honest. [player_tooltip player_id='816286' first='Maxwell' last='Hiller'] and [player_tooltip player_id='827011' first='Jimmy' last='Kalis'] have each been placed at the top of our 2027 list, with myself going back and forth on who I think is the safest and highest-graded college football prospect. Seeing Spell several times this offseason, seeing the way his body is filling out, I can no longer deny him the spot, despite my general bias/love toward offensive lineman.</li> </ul> </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1398199' first='Kelvin' last='Morrison'] | RB | Hickory <ul> <li>A bit ashamed it took me this long to uncover [player_tooltip player_id='1398199' first='Kelvin' last='Morrison'] out of Hickory. Placed on our watchlist for three consecutive updates. I'm not too prideful to admit that I was completely unaware of the fanfare and traction he had gained in the recruiting world. Deservedly so. Morrison is now inside the Top 15, this among 2027 PA classmates.</li> </ul> </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1624012' first='Charles' last='Hart'] | RB/LB | Plum BSD <ul> <li>Huge leap was in order for Plum's Charles "CJ" Hart. 6'0, 210 pounds. 4.1 GPA, Hart recently picked up his first FBS offer, this out of Akron just a couple of weeks back. I liked Hart as a high D2, low FCS player, yet he has clearly out-grown that 2024e evaluation. Based on what I've seen on X, Hart is drawing serious attention thanks to the develop/strides he's made throughout the past 8-10 months. Good for him, he's a Top 50 2027 PA prospect currently.</li> </ul> </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1620321' first='Vinnie' last='Feliciano'] | RB | Mercyhurst</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1513177' first='Isaiah' last='Zimmerman'] | RB | Cedar Crest</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='914943' first='Princeton' last='Dent'] | RB | Harrisburg</li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='671952' first='Ahzir' last='Nelson'] | RB | La Salle College <ul> <li>Calling my shot a bit here. I'm convinced on all things [player_tooltip player_id='671952' first='Ahzir' last='Nelson']. I've had close up looks of him working in the Fall, I've watched him perform under a microscope as an incoming freshman as well as a sophomore this past January. The ranking is a modest projection of where I think he'll stand post-2025 tape being released. It's a ranking floor for him, interested in seeing how high he can raise his ceiling.</li> </ul> </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1316523' first='Amari' last='Cannon'] | RB | Downingtown West <ul> <li>Downingtown West's [player_tooltip player_id='1316523' first='Amari' last='Cannon'] debuted inside our Top 100 two updates ago, then was placed back on our watch list. Now, as an upperclassman, I am willing to bet on him with a bit more confidence. His demotion to our WL was strictly due to a lack of substantial tape. I'm confident he'll impress this coming Fall, we'll see if he can open the eyes of much more important people than myself.</li> </ul> </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='913896' first='Ronell' last='Word'] | RB | Imhotep Charter <ul> <li style="text-align: left">Yes, Imhotep's backfield is loaded and will likely always be loaded. [player_tooltip player_id='913896' first='Ronell' last='Word'] is going to get his fair share of carries this coming Fall. Based on two eye-opening in-person camp performances, I can no longer doubt his talent. The production and stampable tape will come in time. I'm not perfect, his previous rank was an oversight on my part. A modest raise on our ranks, I think if Moyer can capitalize on his talent and H/W combination, paired with the offensive system he's in over at Souderton, he could make a name for himself in Distrcit 1. I have high expectations for him.</li> </ul> </li> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1282118' first='NaQuan' last='Thomason'] | RB | Parkland <ul> <li>Much like the above-mentioned [player_tooltip player_id='1623998' first='Nico' last='Mager'], I'm not sure how I graded Parkland's [player_tooltip player_id='1282118' first='NaQuan' last='Thomason'] so low. In the recruiting world, tape sadly isn't everything. That being said, after re-evaluating Thomason's Fall tape, I immediately knew I had to raise his stock.
