Isaiah Zummerman is an elite running back in the 2027 class. He recently picked up his 9th offer from Rhode Island, as his recruitment has blown up. Zimmerman is a classic in-between-the-tackles runner. He is a physical runner who runs through contact at a high level. If defenders try to arm tackle him, they usually are not successful. It is common for him to break 3 or 4 tackles per run play. That’s how physical a runner he is. Then he also has elite speed. He can score anytime he touches the ball because he has that good of speed. Zimmerman is an excellent running back with a bright future.

He has rushed for 1,133 yards on the year with 16 touchdowns. He is a physical running back who refuses to go down. Cedar Crest made the playoffs as the 8th seed and must play the 9th seed, Cedar Cliff. This will be a battle and a fun match-up, and Cedar Crest will need Zimmerman to step up and run the ball well to get the victory.

Love his build, Zimmerman clearly puts effort in the weight room as he was one of the more cut-up backs present.

Exemplary work put forth by a young man who looked beyond his years. Love the attention he gave to coaches who pointed out mistakes, this is a coachable prospect who has his best football years ahead of him.

4.69 40, an impressive 9’4 broad jump, this all at an above average 5’10, 188 pounds. A bigger back who flashed soft hands. A back that is a bit more athletically gifted than many of his counterparts present. Excited to re-rank him moving forward.

At the Showcase was the 1st time I got to see him work out live, and I came away impressed with him. He stood out the entire showcase as he did well during individual drills and one-on-ones. His ability to catch the ball in space and make defenders miss in space is excellent. Zimmerman is a good running back who has the skills to improve even more next season to be a dominant force for Cedar Crest.

He does a good job of hitting the hole and making people miss in space. Then, when he gets into the open field, he has the speed to run past defenders for a big play. Zimmerman is one of the best running backs in the area and should have a good chance to continue his success this week.

Isaia Zimmerman continued his dominant season in the playoffs with a big win over Hempfield. Zimmerman ran for 220 yards and an eye-popping 5 touchdowns. Besides being a physical and tough runner, what separates Zimmerman from other players is his ability to break long touchdown runs. Once he gets into the open field he has elite track speed and just runs past defenders for long touchdown runs. Zimmerman is having a great year for Cedar Crest.

On Friday night against he rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns to help defeat Hempfield. His two touchdown runs were super impressive. Both were big plays that helped seal the game for Cedar Crest. Zimmerman continues to play at a high level for Cedar Crest.
