At our winter showcase, I was blown away by

. He has great size (6’1″), speed, and athleticism you want in a running back. I was also surprised he had no offers; well, that is finally fixed recently. He recently picked up offers from Temple and UMASS. An impressive showing finally for Cannon. These are the 1st two, but not the final offers he’s getting.
After a great conversation with @CoachLark_28 an @coachharasymiak I am blessed to receive my second division 1 offer! #agtg @arlenharris_ @CoachPhilPlank @coachkline76 @PRZVicCastillo @EdOBrienCFB @247recruiting @247Sports pic.twitter.com/k0VODXUvIg

is my guy. He balled out at the PRZPA Showcase. He is a talented athlete who can do it all on the football field. He is a running back with wide receiver skills. He recently got an offer from Temple, which is incredible. I expect more offers to come his way. Cannon should play a lot as a slot receiver at the PRZPA Classic 7-on-7. I am excited to watch him perform.
After a great conversation with @Coach_AndrewP I am blessed to say I have received my first division 1 offer from temple. @247Sports @EdOBrienCFB @PRZVicCastillo @coachkline76 @CoachPhilPlank @TempleUniv pic.twitter.com/4Ws3yvKYhR

‘s year-over-end growth, his maturity, his testing numbers, his ability to dominate an enitrety of a camp, I can no longer deny him his flowers. His ranking will elevate likely 50+ positions. Check out how our RB MVP was moving this past January, an all-time elite PRZ PA performance. One that will stick with me for years to come. Excited to keep plugging his name, he’s an offer-ready prospect.

won the MVP for the running back position. He was the best running back the entire time. He showed a great burst and quickness that you need from a running back. During individual drills, he was outstanding. He showed a good ability to jump cut and make moves during the individual drills. He also showed a good ability to catch the ball. He can run routes and catch the ball. During one-on-one, he did an excellent job catching the ball. He then made defenders miss in space. He has wide receiver skills as a running back. He is a good playmaker who can do it all.
Thanks for having me @PrepRedzonePA @PRZVicCastillo @footballcoach79 it was an honor to win MVP @EdOBrienCFB pic.twitter.com/1pszDTz9Hc

- 6’1, 185 pounds. Looks to have added a few cuts/definition around frame. We predicted he would grow into lean build over time, he’s looking like a back capable of handling wear and tear. His sophomore year production line and workload prove that. Currently ranked as a top ten back in his class, I’m inclined to elevate him further based on his most recent tape. I’ll get into what I liked below.
- Eclipsed the thousand-yard benchmark, this on top of 19 scores and 300+ receiving yards. Cannon was able to prove to potential collegiate suitors that he’s worth the hype sent his way prior to his Fall season. Nearly eight minutes worth of tape readily available on Hudl. Early reps show off Cannon’s ability to return kicks for scores, acceleration, patience, and home-run hitting ability all on display earlier on. Can take outside zone runs to the house, speed off the edge and a nose for the end zone make him a back who can break open a game in an instant. Comfortable working in tight sets, comfortable following and reading blocks set via pre-snap motion. Jet sweep capable player. A player who can be the focal point of an offense. Couple Cannon’s acceleration skills with mis-direction sets, and you’ll see DBs in the secondary having little time to take proper angles on Cannon, he’s often loose downfield by the time a secondary knows what’s happening in front of him. His ability to press correct holes makes him a consistent chain mover. Can catch the football, has optimal size for Division One discussions. Excited to rerank him higher than ever before this coming update.

is a good running back in the 2027 class. He is having a great year for Downingtown East, and he continued it Friday night. Cannon rushed for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cannon’s ability to keep his feet moving and to make defenders miss is special. He also has a physical running style that is hard to tackle. Cannon has a bright future ahead of him, and he is having a strong season.

is a legit athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball, and it was apparent during the Prep Redzone Showcase how talented of a player he is. He was in the 3rd team selection, but he could have been moved up to the 1st or 2nd team selections. It was apparent during the one-on-one competitions that linebackers would struggle to stay in front of him when they tried to guard him. Cannon shows a good ability to run routes and catch the ball well. He is a legit player in the 2027 class, and I cannot wait to see him play next season.

dealt with some injuries this season, but wow, when he came back, he showed the same explosiveness from before. The kid has elite speed. Once he gets into the open field he is gone. He has a chance to be one of the best players at the showcase, and he looks like he could run an excellent 40 times. I am excited to see him work out.
