Class ’28 RBs: New Names to Know in ’25

A few names have emerged after stellar Freshman seasons and find their name in the RedZone Top 50 overall rankings. He got his feet wet last season at the varsity level where he averaged over 6 carries per game. The 5'9 180 RB had double digit carries in 4 of the Tigers 11 games. Graduation hit Adairsville hard in the skill positions this Spring and Carters workload should increase this Fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What Stands Out:</strong> Carter has a good build for an every down back. Solid frame with a strong upper body that obviously spends time off the field in the weight room. Good North/South speed, recent 4.65 40, and combined with his size makes an outstanding between the tackle option. Good hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook:</strong> 2025 will be a turn the corner year for Carter. He has the size, speed, IQ to make an impact for the Tigers this Fall. In a very talented and crowded RB room, Reynolds was the only Freshman to get some totes last Fall. The Trojans graduated 316 carries in Senior Tyrese Woodgett and will be needing some guys to shoulder that load this Fall. Reynolds has added 20 pounds since this profile update and is a solid 5'8 175 heading into his Sophomore season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What Stands Out:</strong> Size and strength. Reynolds recently posted him maxing at 275 hang clean, impressive for a guy still in his freshman season. A natural RB with a great nose in traffic. Plays at 100% even without the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook:</strong> A lot of talent at Coffee to spread the ball around. Reynolds needs to make the most of his opportunities this Fall. Spivey should get plenty of carries this year for the Rome Wolves, a team with a good reputation for sending RBs to the next level. Outstanding athlete that has the ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball as a Sophomore, rare at the 5A level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What Stands Out:</strong> Agility and instinctive in traffic. A natural football player whose toughness and love of the game is evident on film. They return 12 guys that got work out of the backfield during last seasons Title run. The 5'9 185 Gray is the only freshman in that group that received carries. An alumni of our Prep Redzone camp, we got to see 1st hand his potential impact with the ball in his hand. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>What Stands Out:</strong> Great frame, fierce competitor. Great vision in traffic and was a Top 5 tester in all the Camp metrics last year. Has really put the work in off the field to gain muscle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Outlook:</strong> '26 maybe the season Gray has the opportunity to earn the right to be the go to man for the Rams but he should see a significant in his action this season.
