Stock Watch: Recruiting update on 2028's from MD/D.C.

Prep Redzone has an update on the top prospects in Maryland/D.C.'s 2028 recruiting class. The last update came a couple of weeks ago. This update includes a few prospects that weren't in the last update. Boston College, Toledo, and UMass all offered during May.   [player_tooltip player_id='1419177' first='Chris' last='Alston'] | Athlete | Friendship Collegiate | 6-0 | 175   Toledo offered Alston during the month of May. Maryland and Virginia Tech offered him late last year.   [player_tooltip player_id='769742' first='Stefan' last='Rogers'] | Wide Receiver | 6-0 | 180 | St. John's College   Rogers has offers from Maryland, Penn State, Wisconsin, Toledo, and Sacramento State. Wisconsin, Toledo, and Sacramento State offered him during May. He recently took an unofficial visit to UCLA, a little less than two weeks ago. He recently camped at Penn State this past weekend. During May, Marshall, Rhode Island, Toledo, Pittsburgh, and Delaware State all offered Tibbs. Nebraska offered Elee during May. It's worth noting that he's most likely going to hit that 30-plus offer range sooner than later. Don't be surprised to see his offer count go up more during this and next month. He camped at Maryland earlier this month.   [player_tooltip player_id='965120' first='Brandon' last='Jefferson'] | Wide Receiver | 6-1 | 180 | Mergenthaler   Jefferson has reported offers from Charlotte, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech.   ED O.B.'s QUICK THOUGHTS   Jermaine Smith had a "quiet" month during May when it came to offers. If he's on the camp circuit in the upcoming months, that'll change quickly. [player_tooltip player_id='1644118' first='Bryce' last='Smalls'] is someone who has seen his recruiting stock go up another notch in his early career. Cornerbacks with [player_tooltip player_id='1419182' first='Ryan' last='Drakeford']'s ability and length at his age are hard to come by. Drakeford will be a double-digit offer guy before July. If [player_tooltip player_id='959451' first='RJ' last='Cruz'] camps in the upcoming months, his stock will skyrocket even more. Cruz keeps a low profile, but he is an absolute beast on the field. I think [player_tooltip player_id='1134909' first='Japhya' last='Rouson']'s recruitment will continue to be a slow burn. I expect Rouson's stock to rise even more as he camps in the upcoming months.
