Cruz keeps a low profile, but when he’s on the field, he’s an animal. His current double-digit list of offers includes Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech. Something tells me Cruz is going to make another big step forward as a football player and his stock will go up even more.

I’ve been to two McDonogh games already this season, and RJ popped in both of them. He is an OL/DL prospect but so far he has shined as a DT in my mind. He made nice plays for a sack in both games I was at. RJ has good size for as freshman at 6’3″ and strong not sloppy 275lbs. He moves well with natural bend, and athletic for his size. He’s explosive off the snap, physical and a good motor. Has displayed active hands and a nice rip move, as well as good power/strength in shedding off blocks. RJ only holds one Power 4 Offer so far, but I have really liked what I’ve seen in his game so far and he will be on lots of colleges radars this year.
