A few aircraft carriers worth of QBs at Wayne State this past weekend. So, so many QBs, and barely enough time or reps to get a good look at any.

The good news- QB was the one position where it was easy to get a quick impression. I missed several QBs that I wanted to get a look at, but I'm still happy with the six impressions that I have.

Donald made it look easy. This dude is scary good.

I don't feel the need to elaborate too much- he's already one of the most highly-touted players in the country. Size is elite. Arm is elite. Throwing motion is quick and consistent, and his accuracy is spot-on. Donald did not test, but he didn't have to.

Plus, Donald has an extremely confident, bubbly personality. Zero big red flags. Very few questions left unanswered. With Bryce graduated, Doland is currently QB1 in Michigan by a mile.

Grayson is now my QB2 in Michigan, regardless of class.

I only saw maybe half a dozen routes on air reps, but dang was Grayson slinging it. Grayson has a quick, semi-sidearm throwing motion. His lower body is a bit stiff, but still does an awesome job of lining his body up with the throw, staying balanced, and really exaggerating that flick of the wrist. Throws hard, throws confidently, has excellent size. His testing numbers could still improve significantly, though.

A ton of MAC offers for Grayson. He's a future Power 4 guy in my book.

Bryce shows a ton of flashes.

First off, he passes the eye test with flying colors. Has the size that Division 1 colleges are looking for. Plus, a couple of passes that I watched were very impressive. At his best, Bryce is able to make any throw.
Though he's pretty inconsistent. The two videos I have show differing mechanics, and he's overall not as consistently accurate as I'd like for a D1-level QB. Absolutely shows the flashes, has solid testing numbers, and great size.

I liked what I saw from Nehmiah's reps.

I watched Nehemiah during the initial drills, in addition to a couple of routes on air. During one rep, Nehemiah rolls out right and delivers a nice, hard ball toward a stationary target. During another rep, Nehemiah rolled left, and struggled to throw cross-body. He also did well during the routes on air period, but generally struggled to hit receivers perfectly in stride. Granted, it's difficult when you have a different WR, usually with a different skillset every rep.
Lastly, the testing numbers were solid, but there's still room to grow, especially if he's going to be a dual-threat at the next level.

I did not seek out an evaluation of Ryan, but he got so many reps right in front of me that it was hard not to notice.

Ryan does an excellent job of staying calm and using his whole body to drive the football downfield. Every throw had perfect velocity, and he did a great job exaggerating that flick of the wrist and throwing with his whole body. I will nitpick a little; Ryan's throwing motion is a bit long, and his footwork is inconsistent. Though going off of last weekend, he absolutely looks like a college prospect. Looking at another Prep Redzone Evaluation, it seems that Ryan has shown improvement over the past year. I can easily see Ryan succeeding at the D3 or D2 level.

Malcomb is worth a mention just based on his testing numbers.

A 4.682 40-yard dash, 115-inch broad jump, 4.325 shuttle, and a 28.5-inch vertical. I was able to catch a game of Malcomb's last year, and he looked solid at Safety and QB. I could see Malcomb succeeding at either position, but considering his testing numbers, I love the upside at safety.
