Class of 2026 Ranked Recruiting Update

Of course, I've been pounding the table for Pavel for quite a while. I beleive that the GLIAC is exactly where he belongs. Super proud of Pavel, and hope more GLIACs follow suit. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lansing Everett ATH [player_tooltip player_id='567890' first='Javari' last='Funches'] offered by GVSU, Ferris State, Others</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I'm very happy to say that Javari is receiving quite a bit of attention. I've said it for a while- "watch his tape"! Colleges have obviously done their homework, and I'm happy to see Javari being a high-tier GLIAC prospect. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Haslett Running Back [player_tooltip player_id='1148693' first='Kory' last='Amachree'] commits to Kansas</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A super high-profile commit. I'm not in the business of predicting commitments, but this one surprised me. Kansas does have a history of hotly pursuing Michigan players whom they love. It was Southfield A&amp;T QB Isaiah Marshall two years ago, and now, Kory. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Detroit Catholic Central TE [player_tooltip player_id='566981' first='Jack' last='Janda'] commits to Wisconsin</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Great pickup for the Badgers! A very well-rounded TE who can develop into whatever Wisconsin needs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mona Shores Safety [player_tooltip player_id='568145' first='George' last='Duggins'] offered by GVSU, Army, Ivy League Programs</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Duggins is getting a ton of interest from GLIAC, Ivy League, and, evidently, the armed forces. Has great size, all the athletic traits you want, and has experience playing both ways. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Brighton Tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1277061' first='Jack' last='Carlson'] offered by Iowa State </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I've always believed in Jack's potential. He's a great kid, works hard, and has D1-level size and athleticism. Once he made the switch to offensive tackle, it was only a matter of time. I know that he's put himself in front of a ton of GLIAC and MAC coaches, and I know a few schools were at least curious. A lot of travel, a lot of competition, and it's starting to pay off. Definitely a MAC talent, I hope that he at the very least earns a ton more attention from the GLIAC.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Detroit MLK Running Back [player_tooltip player_id='1226338' first='Michael' last='Dukes'] flips commitment from Toledo to Rutgers</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Man! Dukes flips from the MAC to the BIG 10. Rutgers obviously likes what they see from Dukes. He also fits their style of offense quite well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mona Shores Running Back [player_tooltip player_id='402064' first='Tomarion' last='Steward'] commits to Miami (OH)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mona Shores product is taking his talents to Oxford, Ohio. Love this pickup for the Redhawks. A ton of upside as a power RB. Play style reminds me of David Montgomery.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Notre Dame Prep LB/S [player_tooltip player_id='568100' first='Brody' last='Sink'] commits to Miami (OH)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another dude with awesome size, physicality, and athletic traits. Love the flashes he's showed at Notre Dame Prep- when he's on his game, he's a game-wrecker. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Detroit MLK Quarterback Andrew Knight offered by Central State, Wayne State, Davenport</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Knight with a flurry of offers since late April. Having seen him in person a couple of times this offseason, these offers are not surprising. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Midland Dow OL [player_tooltip player_id='1148728' first='Zander' last='Halliwill'] offered by Wayne State </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A dude that's improved year after year. I know that Wayne State evaluated him at our last Prep Redzone camp, and after another in-person look, they offered. Hope that other GLIACs catch on. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
