If you’re looking for high motor, high physicality and elite edge setting, here’s your guy. The Wisconsin commit has solidified himself as one of the best pass rushers I have ever seen in person. His get-off is quick, his technique and use of hands is great and when he gets his hands on the ball carrier, there is nothing they can do. Way too big, way too strong. His squad is facing off against an East Kentwood team that had a lethal QB, a plethora of weapons and a high-powered passing game, so Janda will be a major X-Factor in this game. If he is able to cause chaos and collapse the pocket regularly, this team could be well on its way to the state finals!

We all know what Janda is capable of on offense. I was very pleasantly surprised with his defensive abilities.
Primarily playing on the interior D-Line, Jack sported great anchor and motor. The OLSM O-Line is quite good, but they struggled to get anything done against Jack. Not his primary position, but still an excellent asset on the IDL because of his strength, anchor, and motor. I see why Janda was such a highly-touted prospect. He’ll do great things at Wisconsin!

Physicality.
A lot of great traits for Jack, but I think his physicality stands out above all else.
His tape at OLSM, specifically at defensive end, shows his physicality. Love the way Jack fires off the ball and relentlessly pursues the ballcarrier, and sheds any would-be blockers. I honestly don’t have the best information on Jack right now, but yeah, the physicality really stands out to me.
Playing EDGE, DL, TE, whatever, Jack’s physicality will serve him well. Keep being relentless out there.

Janda is one of the best uncommitted Class of 2026 TEs in the country. Jack should be in store for an incredible senior season, but probably not without committing first. As of right now, Jack has 23 D1 offers, including B1G 10 schools such as Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, and Oregon.
As for Jack’s stillset, I’d call him a “possession” Tight End. That said, I think Jack is good at just about everything but not elite as a blocker or receiver. His blocking is solid, and it’s bolstered even more because of the fact that he also plays DE. You don’t need to worry about Jack’s physicality. Jack is also a good receiver, but I don’t see the elite athletic metrics needed to be a all-star receiver at the collegiate level. The college he ends up attending will be getitng a very well-roundedl, high-floor TE!

Strengths
- Play Speed
- Route Running
- Hands
- Physicality
- Size
Weaknesses
- Few blocking reps
- Weak contact balance
Jack has what it takes to grow into a great TE in the B1G 10 or SEC. Offensively, great play speed. A couple of good routes (outs, ins mostly) and developing vision after the catch. Needs to work on breaking tackles. Needs to work on blocking- I’m not confident he’s a coherent blocker. Though, it’s exceptioanlly rare to have a perfectly well-rounded high school TE. An elite work ethic will show results at the college level.
Could also develop as a defensive end / EDGE rusher, but he’s far more raw in that position right now.

This offseason, Jack has earned offers from Michigan, Wisconsin, Miami (FL), and a few others. Last year at St. Mary’s, Jack was a great two-way player. Although a bit raw, Jack showcased his upside in several ways. Offensively, Jack secured a few great catches and immediately tried to turn upfield. He also showed good athleticism and decent route running. Defensively, Jack was able to make a ton of plays. Jack’s size allows him to create space in between him and the lineman, and oftentimes, he was unblockable. Although still a bit raw, I like Jack’s effort and athletic traits. Now on a new team and with several Power 4 offers, I expect Jack to take a big step up this season. Considering those offers, I’d assume that Jack has improved significantly in several areas. I’ve seen big jumps from a ton of players during their Junior season, and I expect Jack to quickly become a dominant player in one of Michigan’s hardest leagues.

Janda is another high-riser in this update. Although he was already ranked very high, Jack has done plenty this offseason to earn a boost.
Mainly, his recent offers from Michigan, Wisconsin, and Stanford are very impressive. Especially with Michigan- they have VERY high standards when it comes to recruiting.
Last year at OLSM, Jack was an incredibly well-rounded TE. First off, his tape shows two-way versatility that you rarely see with TEs. As a DE, Jack is explosive and relentless. As a TE, Jack can block in-line or be a great threat out wide. I especially like how explosive Jack is after the catch. No-doubt a phenomenal TE, a sure P4 prospect, and will remain near the top of the rankings for a long time.
