Jack was an absolute man amongst boys at times on Friday night. Offensively the massive left tackle did a great job of keeping a clean pocket and neutralizing the blitz packages that Howell through at the Brighton offense. Jack was a monster in the run game as he made multiple huge blocks that sprung the Bulldogs running backs throughout the night. On defense jack played a ton of defensive end and was unblockable most of the night. Jack did not give up any ground against a potent Howell run game and recorded close to double digit tackles as he created a ton of havoc for the highlanders. Jack was very impressive all night on both sides of the ball and showed why he is heading to play Big Ten football.

Jack has gotten off too a very good start for his bulldog team. The future Michigan State Spartan has shown why he has become so coveted. At 6’7″ jack has excellent length and has showed good light feet in pass pro. Jack positions himself to stay on balance and not get moved of his spot while defending his QB’s back side. Jack has also done a very nice job adding strength to his growing body and has become a menace in the run game. I have been impressed with jacks ability to control the line of scrimmage and give his back’s good clean running lanes to dart through. Jack is having a very solid season so far for Brighton and i expect to continue to see his stock rise through the fall schedule.

Another offensive tackle who just kept on working during the offseason. Like Eric, I have not yet done a deep dive on Jack’s season, but I have seen a few promising highlights. Jack’s all-around pass blocking took a massive leap in the offseason, and just about the entire MAC is on notice. Even better, I know a few Power 4 schools are heavily interested, including Iowa State, who offered Jack over the summer.

MAC floor, and a high Power 4 ceiling. Blue chip guy who I expect to continue to develop in the coming months.

I’ve talked at length about Jack, and he’s currently one of my most confident evaluations in this class.

Jack may not have the offer volume of others on this list, but I know he’s worked just as hard. This is a prospect who just recently made the switch to tackle, and he’s shown a ton of promise. In short, Jack has good bend, great athletic traits, and is quickly developing his punch and overall instincts. The two biggest flaws of Jack are currently experience and size. Jack has the height, but lacks the weight of other Power 4 prospects. As I said earlier, he’s still relatively new to being a full-stop offensive tackle.

I am leaning toward ranking Jack #3 in this next update. He’ll likely be #3 or #4.

The more I watch Jack, the more confident I am in his trajectory. I feel that Jack was even overlooked because he’s a class of 2027 prospect (vast majority of non-D1 colleges solely evaluated 2026s).

Athletically, Jack is way ahead of the curve. His background playing positions other than tackle helps. Also, he carries his weight very well. A lot of taller players don’t have the muscle to move quickly.

Skill-wise, Jack has a bit to go but is still dang good. He gets good depth on his kickstep, has an accurate punch, uses his length effectively. Jack is especially good at blocking DEs attempting to win the outside.

Jack definitely needs to polish his game a bit more. Plus, D1s may want him to better fit weight preferences. As long as Jack shows continual improvement, I’d expect him to eventually earn a MAC offer.

Power 4 ceiling, GLIAC floor.

I’ve talked about Jack quite a bit over the past year. He’s got the height, he’s got the length, he just needs to learn his style of pass rush. His leg length allows him to have a massive first step, and his arm length indicates massive upside when it comes to pass rush. He’s still pretty raw.

After this off-season, we should have a better idea if Jack can earn a B1G 10 offer or if he’s a MAC player.
