Spring Showcase: Corner Canyon, Lehi, Skyridge, Copper Hills PT2

Let's wrap up the showcase with some additional players that looked well during the showcase.    Laddimore transferred in from Westlake, and he was phenomenal during the evening. He has a large catch radius, good size and great ball-tracking skills. He is a player that is primed for a huge uptick in recruiting. He made several good plays during the evening, from the 1v1's to the 7v7's, he had a fantastic evening.     Niu is an excellent mover with good size and he looks like he's added on some good size. He's an athletic playmaker who is versatile, he can be in-line, detached and moved around for him to create on his own. He's set up for a big final season at Lehi.     Batt showed good footwork and good hip sink to win on in-breaking routes. Throughout the 1v1 and 7v7, he showed good ball tracking skills and winning deep. Batt showed good speed and soft hands. A good showing for him     Tafa showed why he's an elite player. Outstanding fundamentals and quick footwork and excellent lateral movement with great burst. He is fun to watch. Great size, physicality, and nastiness to his game. He had an exceptional evening and is an elite prospect.     Havea had a good showing on the evening. He showcased a quick first step, a solid base, and good strength to go along with quick hands, and moved well laterally. Havea is a player on the ascension.     Takitaki is an excellent mover; he showcases good explosiveness and has a good bend to him as a rusher. He has a great first step, active hands, and good physicality to his game. Takitaki was smooth during his drills and performed well throughout the evening. He was explosive and made a good showing during the 5v5 portion.     Kaio had an excellent evening. He looked explosive in his drills and moved well laterally, and had a great bend around the corner. That transferred over to the 5v5, and he showcased an exceptional first step and getting position over the lineman and getting him out of position, he used a good dip to get around the corner and win his reps. He moved inside and showed too quick for interior linemen to hold up.     Meredith is new to Utah and he had a good showing. He showcases good movement patterns and good hand fighting. He performed well during his individual drills and has room to grow.     Wood was active during the 7v7 portion and showed good lateral movement and closing speed. He plays well in space and doesn't get lost in coverage. He's continuing to add to his versatility and a player that should get a rise in recruiting soon.     Gilford moves exceptionally well and is an excellent athlete. He has fluid hips and can stick to receivers and showcases good strength to match up with bigger receivers. Gilford has great instincts and is an elite prospect    It was a great evening at Summit Academy and Stuart Tua put on an exceptional event.
