He understands zone coverages and where to sit and work his way back to his quarterback in scramble drills. Batt has good ball-tracking skills and showcases good body control. He’s an intriguing prospect who can transition to an athletic move tight end and open up new avenues for him. He shows good physicality and the move wouldn’t be too difficult for him should he decide to make that switch. Coaches would love the raw traits that he brings to that position, should he make that move. His trajectory as a tight end makes him enticing, he has a large catch radius and lined up as a move tight end and getting him in mismatches would get positional coaches excited.
