Kaio had a fantastic evening; he was making plays and disrupting the flow of the offense all night long. Kaio was everywhere for Copper Hills and was a premium impact player. His footwork, lateral movement pattern and quick hands made him impactful on the night. He’ll look to disrupt another offense this week.

Kaio had an excellent evening. He looked explosive in his drills and moved well laterally, and had a great bend around the corner. That transferred over to the 5v5, and he showcased an exceptional first step and getting position over the lineman and getting him out of position, he used a good dip to get around the corner and win his reps. He moved inside and showed too quick for interior linemen to hold up.

Kaio has a good frame and can get to 230 lbs without limiting his athletic traits. He showcases good first step and physicality and a good pursuit to the ball carrier. Kaio has good lateral quickness and the ability to shed his blockers and has a nice closing speed to get to the ball carrier. He has good footwork and would be a capable edge rusher to drop back in coverage. Kaio has active hands and could get some looks regionally in recruiting.

Kaio is an athletic prospect that shows initial quickness to read and react at the LOS. Strength at the POA to control and ability to shed blocks to get to the ball carrier. Burst to get upfield, hand usage to make quick contact and effort to push the pocket as a power rusher to get to the QB as a pass rusher. Kaio has the size and athleticism to play the OLB/DE position in a 3-4 defensive type scheme at the next level.
