Expert Analysis
Andy Pham | Prep Redzone Scout
Bryton is a modern day move Tight End. He is a physical player who can be inline or detached. He is a willing blocker in the run game and as a receiver, he has a large catch radius, gets vertical with ease, and has strong hands. He’s used in the short to intermediate game where they let him create after the catch. He’s a big bodied target that moves well and his upside is huge.

Bryton has a size advantage over the Skyridge defense, and he’s an athletic chess piece against their backers and safeties. He’ll be an easy target to move the chains and working the middle of the offense.

With the receivers working downfield and quick screens, the middle will be operated by Niu and he’ll force the Mountain Ridge backers to cover him which will leave a light box. His impact early on will set the tempo for the offense and give Lehi the flexibility to keep Mountain Ridge on its toes.

Niu is an exceptional tight end and part of the modern day wave. An athletic big, who moves like a receiver. Niu is physical and can be inline, but when he is detached and forces a backer or safety on him, that’s when he shines. He’s too athletic and physical for safeties and too quick and shifty for backers. He’s primed to have a fantastic final season.
