Vincent came in from California and made an immediate impact. He is an active backer who is quick off the line, moves well side to side and has a good burst. He does well pressing forward and attacking in and closing in on the ball carrier. He does well in coverage and doesn’t get lost in space. He’ll be an important piece at the next level and will find a way to get on the field and make plays.

Vincent has been excellent and he’s been great at minimizing big plays and being a tackling machine and finding ways to the ball. He has good size and is a player that moves well laterally. He’s best as an on-ball backer, but with his footwork, does well in coverage. He’s a D1 recruit.

Evans comes from California and will head up a backing group that is deep and talented. Evans has great instincts, diagnoses quickly, shows good quickness, lateral movements, disengages from his blocks, and has excellent tackling form. His functional play strength is good, and he is best as an on-ball attacking backer that could be used as an edge rusher.

Evans comes into Utah and jumps to the upper tier of Linebackers for the 2026 class. He has good size and a tremendous playmaker. Evans diagnoses plays quickly, showcases a high football IQ, and has great anticipation. He is a physical player with textbook tackling form and displays a great short area burst. Evans showcases great lateral quickness and his overall speed is evident when he plants his leg and attacks forward, he’s a heat-seeking missile and finds himself around the ball. He is a playmaker and isn’t one dimensional, he has good coverage skills and doesn’t get lost dropping back in coverage. Evans has active hands and gets in passing lanes and gets his hands on the ball. He’s simply a playmaker with excellent vision and a leader. He is a natural middle linebacker where he can lead the defense. Evans will get offers coming in and should be getting power-four offers as that is the type of player he is.
