I was able to watch a handful of Blake's reps. Something I noticed was that he was always getting off the ball super quickly, consistently earning quick separation from the linebacker. Though the LB seemed to catch up most of the time then break up the pass.
The testing statistics back up what I saw. An average (but still good) broad jump, quick 3-cone, camp-best shuttle, but a below-average 40. I thought Blake looked great most of the time, and he was one of the top RBs in my opinion. He did especially well in the open-field 1-on-1 drill. Just needs to increase his top speed by a tad and run hard through his routes.

Built like more of a bruiser, fitting the Portland offense perfectly. When it came to testing, Kayden stood out, touting the best 40 time and best broad jump of any RB. What that tells me is "Kayden is explosive and has good top speed". Which, again, is perfect for a running back who does the vast majority of his work between the tackles.

I was also able to catch a couple of 1-on-1s. Kayden's route running is a little underbaked, which was expected. Though his sheer speed was enough to get open against most linebackers.
A great day of testing for Kayden. Fully expecting another 1000+ yard season from him and another deep playoff run for Portland.

A very promising performance from James, especially when it came to testing. Shuttle, Broad, and 3-cone were all far above average. Plus, aside from the 40, James significantly improved upon his numbers from our last camp. He added 5 inches to his broad jump, cut 0.36s from his shuttle, and cut 0.29s from his 3-cone.
Very excited to see what James is able to accomplish this coming season!

A great day of testing and on-field performance from [player_tooltip player_id='1304026' first='Hunter' last='Wilder']. One of the best-of-the-best RBs, Hunter was all-around quite good. I admittedly don't have a ton of notes on Hunter, but I do have one clip where he runs a nice corner route and makes a catch. Plus, coaches were quite high on Hunter.
