A senior QB who has been the highest recruited QB in the state recently by picking up numerous P4 offers including a plethora of SEC and BIG 10 national contenders enters 2025 with all the talent within himself and all the talent surrounding him, as this Desert Edge team is going to be tough to beat. Sidney is another primetime division 1 prospect that sprung onto the scene last year turning heads across the state. Along with these two, a talented incoming sophomore in Easterling-Flores has also already made his mark from a very impressive freshman season which has landed him numerous P4 offers this spring as well.

Brophy

Brophy is a loaded up 6A squad that should not be slept on. They enter 2025 with a polished, explosive, complete offense all across the board from a pass game, run game, and the big nasty's up front. Vanden Bosch's dual threat ability makes him an instant threat by himself every play, but when you add two of the best receivers in the state along with it- this clearly provides that Brophy offense with a massive upside to burn defenses from a variety of ways. Sharper and Fitzgerald both come in as high level division 1 prospects that remain uncommitted as they combined for well over 1,500 yards and 21 TD's with 117 receptions.

DeWitt made a splash last year to really open everyone's eyes on the rapid quick trajectory of ALA-QC and proved they can compete with anyone in 6A. He'll also get two division 1 prospect transfers to sling to this season as well with [player_tooltip player_id='1177552' first='Khalil' last='Bender'] coming over from McClintock and [player_tooltip player_id='677784' first='Braylon' last='Kasper'] coming from Williams Field. Bender was one of the most electric players in 5A and totaled 1,000 yards on the dot on 64 receptions with 9 TD's. Kasper is another D1 kid who's been on my radar since he entered high school (younger brother of current Oregon WR Kyler Kasper) and is a legit technician with his routes that I think is going to explode here in 2025.

Cactus Shadows

I love what I'm seeing from this Cactus Shadows squad, as you can clearly see the growth and potential continue to sky rocket within this program. Dixon (QB) is one of the best dual threats in the state and has proved that the past two seasons and knows how to find receivers downfield on those broken plays. Two of those guys include [player_tooltip player_id='1682333' first='Dillon' last='Aspiras'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1603188' first='Alex' last='Dafnis']. Dafnis is that WR/TE hybrid type of player that can line up in a variety of different skill spots and is a rare kid that will truly be a mismatch from anywhere, as he totaled 54 receptions for 716 yards and 8 TD's. Aspiras is a kid that I think can be that big play threat here this fall, as he comes off a solid junior year totaling 38 receptions for 531 yards and 4 TD's in a 9 game span.
