There are a number of very good QBs in the Class of 2027, and few of them have really solidified themselves as the best. Landon is one of those in the running, and he has great size for a pro-style QB.

Size is one thing, but on-field performance is another. Landon had a phenomenal Sophomore season with some of the best highlights of anyone in the class. The highlight at 0:12 (pinned on his Twitter) shows a phenomenal back-shoulder throw in the red zone. Practically every other high school QB would have just thrown a fade there, but Landon actually has the precision to throw it toward the pileon- where the DB has no chance of making a play. Just watch the rest of his tape. If Landon doesn't earn any D1 offers in the coming months, then he'll be a GLIAC prosepct. Still, his highlights show D1 talent.

Ranked as my #4 offensive lineman in the class, Samuel holds Division 1 offers from Miami (OH), Toledo, and UMass. Of course, it's hard to earn D1 offers so early without at least decent size, but Samuel is a big 6'6" 275- IDEAL size.

Samuel's tape shows that he's still got a lot of room to grow, but he has the physicality to one day grow into something greater than a MAC prospect. 0:20 is a great example of this. I don't like Samuel's footwork, but I love his physicality and bend. It looks at first like the DE may get the edge, but Samuel resets and knocks the defender off-balance. A ton of plays where Samuel completely eliminates the DE from the passing down. Clean up the footwork, and we're golden.

Braden is another offensive lineman with ideal size. Standing at 6'6" 265, Braden has the potential to be a Division 1 offensive lineman.

Braden has good highlights from his sophomore season at UofD. Generally, he's more fundamentally polished than most offensive linemen in the class. Starting at 0:53, Braden does a great job blocking the DE before he shoots inside, then Braden picks up the DT stunt. Next play, a decent block on the RPO. Good job not getting too far upfield.

As a pass blocker, Braden has solid footwork. Still a bit to improve- he can get his feet tied up, and he's off-balance sometimes. Then, in the run game, I'd also like to see better balance and a bit better aggressiveness.

One of the best small-school QBs you'll ever see. Plus, he's got the size to potentially be an attractive D1 or D2 prospect.

Jack is able to read the field quickly and deliver accurate passes to all areas of the field. 0:45 in his JV tape shows a great pump fake to the running back, then a perfect pass to the receiver running a seam to the middle of the field. Then, 1:04 shows a great pass to his tight end while under pressure.

Fast forwarding to this season, he's got even better throws- it's obvious he's improved. 1:05 shows a great throw on the run with a hand in his face. 1:18, same thing, except throwing to a comeback instead of a crosser.

Considering the big jump in performance from Freshman to Sophomore year, Jack is on track to be a college prospect. My honest opinion is that he's a D2 guy, but that's coming from someone who can't offer anyone. Chance a D1 coach offers this summer; just gotta sling it at a camp.

Tall, long prospect with huge potential at the next level. Already with several Division 1 offers, Maximus could easily play EDGE or TE at the next level.

I especially like his potential as an EDGE rusher. 1:33 on his tape shows a great stop from the backside. The play was too slow for a high-motor defender like Maximus. Similarly, 1:15 shows really great motor stopping the outside run. Love a defensive lineman with the motor to go way outside the hashes and still make a play.

Of course, it his size helps him tremendously. Height gives him an edge against similarly sized offensive lineman, while his length extends his tackle radius and keeps those longer-armed linemen away. In college, especially at the Division 1 level, all you'll see are big, long-armed tackles. Would love to see Maximus develop into a great EDGE, or even TE.
