- Fast feet made a huge difference on several blocks
- Does a great job getting off a punch. Not half-effort like a lot of high school offensive linemen
- Did a good job flushing quicker DEs outside
- Good pad level
- Strong arms- did not let DL swipe arms away
- All-around good performance!

Braden is another offensive lineman with ideal size. Standing at 6’6″ 265, Braden has the potential to be a Division 1 offensive lineman.
Braden has good highlights from his sophomore season at UofD. Generally, he’s more fundamentally polished than most offensive linemen in the class. Starting at 0:53, Braden does a great job blocking the DE before he shoots inside, then Braden picks up the DT stunt. Next play, a decent block on the RPO. Good job not getting too far upfield.
As a pass blocker, Braden has solid footwork. Still a bit to improve- he can get his feet tied up, and he’s off-balance sometimes. Then, in the run game, I’d also like to see better balance and a bit better aggressiveness.

Chaffin is another lineman who has received some Division 1 interest, but he’s still too raw to call him elite. Braden’s midseason tape is solid. A wide variety of blocks executed, and decent footwork on most of them. Though, Braden needs to find a way to play with that extra effort. He looks far too pedestrian when blocking. Don’t be afraid to impose yourself! Hit someone!
