All of this being said, I came away impressed with how Schwartz operated this past weekend. Soft hands, consistently open for [player_tooltip player_id='1312051' first='Jack' last='Martin']. Schwartz and [player_tooltip player_id='1311677' first='Deylen' last='Jones'] find themselves on this list, easily wowing all scouts who were able to watch the NOVA Jets up close. A little unassuming, yet great burst off the LOS, subtle in and out of his cuts, great understanding of zone defenses too. A great second option in settings like this.

The Pennington School's junior wideout was present at our event, representing Level 82. Was one of [player_tooltip player_id='423015' first='Justin' last='Dixon']'s more reliable pass-catchers. As sure-handed a wideout as you can find at this event, I was fully expecting Werner to reel in balls headed his way, that he did. I was more focused on Werner's acceleration and route running skills, this against some elite DBs. I witnessed Werner get open against the likes of Kevin Moore, a Delaware commit, as well as various stud DBs on DOGG WRLD and MD Octane. Witnessing Werner hold his own against comp outside of PA/NJ was great to see, If college coaches have any worry of this, I can expell any potential rumors. Great to see Werner work up close again.

Thomas's chiseled stature stuck out immediately. He carries a college-ready build, one prepared to handle workload as a back or backer operating through the trenches. Said build isn't necessarily suited to work well in a 7v7 setting, however. I'd argue that no out-of-place prospect performed better considering the circumstances. An outstanding YAC performer at this event, Thomas displayed serious burst for someone pushing 220+ pounds. If you watch 3rd & Ten's highlight reel below, you can witness #25 make people miss in the open field. This without mentioning the soft hands attached to the young man. A fantastic performance from arguably a better player in pads. Happy to get the chance to see him work in person.
