With late last week's release of our 2027 SD rankings, we dive further into the 2027 class with looking at the prospects that were stockrisers that moved up either with their overall or positional rank in the class. These are all prospects we have ranked from 100 to 50, so right now these are under the radar targets that moved up. Surely, there are some towards the top 50, that I like their potential to move inside the top 50 with upcoming updates.

The first time around we had Charlie listed as a linebacker, but surely due to his great position flexibility we will move him to an athlete this time around. The 2027 out of Centerville, even though undersized at the moment, you can't miss this kid defensively with his motor and plays more wirey than you would expect when coming down at linebacker. He might show off light reps on tape thus far, but the acceleration doesn't take long to see from this young man and has a good college football bloodline, with older brother [player_tooltip player_id='1556637' first='Miles' last='Eide'] headed to Dakota State.

Graham is a 6'2 220 pounder out of Britton-Hecla that intrigued me as a 9-man prospect that excels on both sides of the ball. The tape shows off a fluid first step as a left guard that intrigues me with the athletic base he maintains from the getco. With that established base, Graham also maintains good pad-level and that pad-level skillset comes out too as a a defensive tackle as well for the Braves. He might be undersized, but the position flexibility for both sides of the trenches and the physical strength that Graham shows off, has the upside to be a mover by next update. Couldn't find a Twitter yet for this young man.

Easton is a 2027 stockriser in this South Dakota class that already impresses us with how hard he has hit the college camp trail already. Sort of limited on the tape front, but I can catch early that Easton is one those offensive linemen that blocks until that whistle blows and I like a lot how he didn't take long on tape to show that. Does an excellent job getting downhill leverage for his size and already shows he can get to the second level with that drive. He shows off a consistency with solid pad-level on tape as a 2027 center that I feel could grow his frame significantly from this offseason and his senior year. The powerlifting background also is intriguing with his ceiling to grow.

Ali is a 2027 defensive linemen that saw reps on JV last year for state champion Sioux Falls Lincoln, as I like what I saw on tape heading into his junior year. For his size, I like the athletic movement Ali has getting out of the inside box with his quick vision to find the ball as it's continously seen on his first looks on tape. The 5'10 215 pounder also intrigues me with his shedding hands as he seems to get off quickly and shows off fluid strength at the point of attack. Ali is an interior defensive linemen to watch his progression upcoming.

Thomas comes up our rankings from the watchlist to our QB6 in the class as a 2027 quarterback out of Spearfish that you can tell quick has a sound chemistry with his receivers. He shows off excellent precision and consistently on tape gets his wide receivers ahead of the secondary. There is more persistency too with Thomas's quick release as he seems like a quarterback that can grow on all three levels. Right now he shows off upside with his touch as I see some wiggle room for growth in that skillset making it more fluiid, but no doubt this young man has the arm strength overall to grow in this 2027 class.

Gavin is a 2027 prospect that I said a few weeks back that I was "kicking myself" I didn't have him higher the first update. He moved up 20+ spots now from that last update and from a technique perspective, certainly one of the most sound offensive linemen outside of the top 50, which should show you his prospect ceiling isn't done growing. The 5'10 225 pounder from Dell Rapids St. Mary, has a fiery intiial punch for his size and sound pad-level seems to be very consistent throughout his tape. I wouldn't be surprised if Gavin has more room for a growth spurt (brother is now 6'4 and at SDSU) as that would again, move this young man up further by next update.

Skyler is a 6'1 now 250 pounder out of Spearfish, that took a step up from his freshmen to sophomore year and I felt looked sound during my live eval this winter at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. You can tell that this young man has a growing football IQ from the first look on tape as the instinct Skyler has to pass-block and then get out in space as a upfront pull-blocker shows off great versatility. I also feel Skyler grew from the season to this offseason with his footwork as our new OL9 in the 2027 class and has lighter tape, which should show off the upcoing upside for Skyler.
