Session 5 is in the books as I learned tonight in our late night film room how much I am starting to like this RB group from the 2028 class in North Dakota. This group really focuses on the athletes that play on both sides of the ball as there's sound great upside to be untapped in this group!

Landon is a 2028 prospect in the defensive trenches out of New Salem-Almont that impressed me with his use of his hands out the gates on tape. He's a defensive end that is very raw when it comes ot his pass rush moves but with a couple of years to develop, he has the potential to gain more agility and power in those reps upcoming. He's another prospect on this list that some of his reps on tape need to be reordered, as I felt the soft hands and agility seemed to progress the deeper I got into his tape. Surely one 2028 to watch his development out of New Salem-Almont.

Jamesley is an intresting athlete out of South Prairie-Max that has a lot of position flexibility that gets thrown around on tape. I like the fit as a wide receiver at the next-level as Jamesley has a quick first step and has the pure athleticism to win the 1v1 battles in high traffic areas. Jamesley also has some intriguing open field ability when he lines up as SPM's quarterback as he's instinctive getting out of the pocket and finding green grass in the open field with ease. If this young man can create a highlight tape and put his best plays together, he's a 2028 I am sure that college recruiters will see why I feel he can surely play at the next-level as an athlete that could be a climber in this class.

I can't lie, Cooper is another athlete on our 2028 list out of Hettinger/Scranton that I feel has great upside, and ordering his best plays in a highlight reel would do him a lot of justice. What you see on tape is a prospect that has a good and growing football IQ as he persistently seems to always be in the right spot at the rgiht time to make a play on the ball, which you'll see Cooper takes the ball away often. He's got more range in my eyes than he gets credit for as a defensive back and even though he labels himself as a WR on Hudl, he's one that surely fits the mold as a safety.

Camden is yet another athlete on our list in this 2028 class and is one that is a two-way prospect that surely shows off his fit in the secondary. Camden has a quick release down to the point of attack and shows off his sudden movement when climbing downhill. He's also a defensive back that on short routes can pop the would-be ball carrier in the right in the mount when he makes contact. He has upside with his stance and footwork in the secondary, but surely the vetted athleticism Camden has at his disposal clings to the ball with some authority from a physical standpoint.

It seems like the more I evaluate this 2028 class, the more I am impressed with the running backs in this class which includes [player_tooltip player_id='1987359' first='Cruz' last='Reinke'] of Lisbon who is due to move up into our 2028 North Dakota rankings. The 5'10 165 pounder is a smooth cutter when he sees the gaps close in the inside box and is fluid with those cuts on a consistent basis. An area Cruz can develop is becoming more durable thru first contact which you can bet that being a workhorse in the weight room will surely help with that this offseason and beyond for Cruz. He's one that can create splash plays on the outside edge when he gets to full speed and one that I feel has a great shot to play on Saturdays.
