If there is a running back in this top five that could make the biggest jump upwards, I feel it could be Brandon Valley running back [player_tooltip player_id='1532671' first='Levi' last='Veskrna']. This young man only needs a small window to utilize his speed thru and the suddenness he shows off on tape should translate very well at the next-level. The 5'11 190 pounder, has excellent vision as you can tell with his change of direction, that he constantly works fluidly from start to finish with his reps we watch on tape. I could surely see Levi in the RB2 or RB3 spot by camp season.

Sully was one of my favorite 2026 Stockrisers when we updated our rankings last time as one that the change of direction and burst comes out at the ideal time to gain seperation quickly on his junior tape to again, show off a finisher that hammers his transition with his vision early. Yet another running back that can operate in tight windows, but amps up on tape with his durability getting yards after contact in my eyes. Sully is a tailback that can turn a nothing play for some running backs into something with his explosiveness within the inside box which puts him as RB4 but another one that could be trending upwards by next upate.

We've talked a lot about operation in tight windows thus far and even at the 9-man level no one looks more polished at it than Corsica-Stickney running back [player_tooltip player_id='670030' first='Waylon' last='Bolle']. This young man has great instincts to turn nothing plays into big gains and is one that was a top performer at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase with a verified 4.65 40 yard dash. It's also consistent that Waylon is fighting for yards with his durability and one that is a blue-collar running back that should create some attention this summer as a small town hidden gem college coaches need to know.

If you are looking for red zone threats in the backfield that surely can find you in the end zone, you will want to meet our RB2 in [player_tooltip player_id='848928' first='Daevion' last='Simonsen'] of Sioux Falls Jefferson who fits the definition of that skillset. Daevion is a young man that I have seen the progression from his sophomore now into his incoming season year especially with his agility as he always seems to unlock his hips quickly whether it is an in season eval or during 7v7 with the Sioux Falls Sharks. Daevion is also a workhorse in the weight room that just keeps developing his craft.

It seems like already a while ago that we named Josiah our RB MVP at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and ever since that live eval, Josiah has maintained his craft as our RB1 in this the class coming out of powerhouse Harrisburg. Josiah easily has the best vision amongst this running back group and with the live eval, we have seen what his agility can do to a linebacker that is apporaching as the instincts Josiah possesses are almost video game like in my eyes. You want a running back with durability? You got it with Josiah, as this young man is like a wrecking ball thru contact. His speed also has been tracked at almost 21 mph on tape and as a running back that is super fluid whether he rolls thru high contact areas or not. If I were a Division I recruiter, I am all over this young man this summer as he just keeps getting better and growing his ceiling even higher.
