As a freshman, he put up 109 tackles, 45 being solos, 1.5 sacks, 1 interception, 4 passes deflected, and 3 forced fumbles. This year, he was more explosive, trusted his eyes more, and had a much better feel for the timing of the offense and it was obvious as the season went on. He rushed for just under 1400 yards and 22 TDs on the year with a long of 94 yards.
