I’m impressed with Moore’s speed and athleticism. Committing to Purdue, the Boilermakers staff is fired up about what he can do in a black and gold uniform. 

Purdue commit is a home-run threat any time with the ball in his hands. Very powerful runner with excellent top-end speed, balance and juice who is hard to bring down. Finished last year with a productive season and expecting no less in 2026.

Izavyeon Moore’s recruiting picked up this spring in a big way. The top running back from Lawrence Central flipped his commitment from Miami-Ohio to Purdue. The Boilers were a bit late on the action in offering the 5-foot-8. 180-pound prospect, but make no mistake: he’s a legitimate Power 4 prospect who dominates on Friday nights. Moore has great top-end juice and is a very physical runner who loves contact and is a legitimate home-run threat with the ball in his hands.

Moore is a quick, explosive, and fast tailback with great change-of-direction and top end burst. Moore is a legitimate home-run threat any time he touches the ball. Moore has been a stud since week 1 of his freshman year and has only gotten better. Friday, he was on a mission. He ripped off big run after big run. He’d shoot through small gaps and come out the other side full speed. Warren Central could not tackle him, and he would make multiple defenders miss in a short area. His 309 yards and 6 TDs were just way too much for Warren Central to overcome.

After a three-point loss to Fishers, Lawrence North bounced back strong with a decisive 32-7 win over East Central on Friday night.
