Keivon is yet another ranked registered DB prospect coming to show off his talents, coming in from Indiana. He profiles as a slot on both offense and defense, and is a great athlete. Obviously, we won’t get to talk about his game much throughout the playing season as Ohio scouts, but I want to see him showcase his ranking at our event Saturday. I’m excited to see what his game looks like.

KeiVon Mattox is establishing himself as a 2028 prospect to know as the season marches on. Contributing in all three phases of the game, he returned a kickoff for a touchdown and recorded six tackles and two pass breakups on defense.

Mattox is a young athlete who keeps getting better and more explosive. He’s got quick feet, can flip his hips easily, and runs routes like he’s been doing it for years. His hands are dependable, and he’s not afraid to put in the work. I’ve seen him in person a few times, and he’s always locked in on the details, whether it’s during drills or between reps. For a young receiver, that focus stands out, and it’s going to serve him well as his role grows.

Mattox is a standout athlete with legit speed and a track background that shows up every time he hits the field. He plays on both sides of the ball and brings value wherever he’s lined up. Offensively, he’s got reliable hands and can take the top off a defense, while on the other side, he’s capable of making tackles in space and closing ground in a hurry. He’s fluid, explosive, and plays with control. With his athletic profile and versatility, Mattox is the type of player who can develop nicely throughout his high school career.
