Throughout the next few days, we'll have a ton of content dropping on Prep Redzone Oklahoma, breaking down some of the top players and overall performances that we witnessed on Sunday. We're continuing it today with a look at some of the top wide receivers that really stood out to us throughout the afternoon. Westmoore freshman [player_tooltip player_id='451430' first='Tommalik' last='Benson'] was already featured earlier this week in our MVP Breakdown after he earned MVP honors from this wide receiver group. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma for more content coming from Sunday's camp!

[player_tooltip player_id='649775' first='DeVeion' last='Bickham'] - 2027 - McAlester

McAlester sophomore wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='649775' first='DeVeion' last='Bickham'] had a solid sophomore season, emerging as the second-leading receiver in the Buffalo offense. Bickham would then come to the camp on Sunday and he immediately got our attention with his length and overall size. During drills and during the one on one session, Bickham used that size and overall height to his advantage and he was a nightmare for opposing defensive backs that just couldn't contend with his size advantage. Bickham is definitely going to be a player that we keep an eye on moving forward because he has the physical tools to be a name to watch and he showed last fall that he can perform at the varsity level. 2025 could be a big year for Bickham.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] - 2027 - Sand Springs

Last week, we named Sand Springs sophomore wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] to our All State 2nd Team after a spectacular breakout season. This week, it should be no surprise that we're writing about Forbes as being one of the top wide receivers that was in attendance on Sunday. And for us, Forbes had the full package working on Sunday. He had speed, sure hands, overall athleticism and separation to make play after play throughout the afternoon. Forbes was clearly on our radar already after an All State-caliber season and getting a chance to watch him up close and in person this weekend only improved our opinion. The one thing that was a bit surprising was Forbes' size. He was a little taller than we realized but that's just another positive for his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1164646' first='Mason' last='Mayhew'] - 2028 - Deer Creek

Deer Creek wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1164646' first='Mason' last='Mayhew'] is the first of two freshmen on this breakdown and he's not a newcomer to performing well at Prep Redzone events. Last year, Mayhew was an eighth grader and performed well at our Prep Redzone Next camps. In fact, the last time we saw Mayhew in person, he was walking away as an MVP for our April PRZ-Next camp. Mayhew came out on Sunday and performed very well on the offensive side of the ball. We've seen him perform very well on both sides of the ball but he was working specifically at wide receiver and he had a good showing. The Deer Creek freshman really impressed us during the one on one portion of drills as he used precise route running to consistently get open.

[player_tooltip player_id='716513' first='Payton' last='Lang'] - 2027 - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='716513' first='Payton' last='Lang'] was featured already this week as one of the "Top Testers" at the camp after finishing in the top ten for three of the four drills. He absolutely blew everyone away in the broad jump but then he went to work on the field. Lang was listed on our roster as a quarterback but he worked primarily as a wide receiver. And he ended up catching the attention of the positional coaches working the camp as one of the top receivers. Lang is no stranger to playing a variety of positions and fitting in wherever the team needs him. He had a really good showing on Sunday and we're looking forward to seeing what's next for him. This offseason, he's moving from Muskogee to Broken Arrow and could be an instant impact player for BA.

[player_tooltip player_id='1539460' first='Reggie' last='Butler'] - 2028 - Moore

Moore freshman wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1539460' first='Reggie' last='Butler'] is the other 2028 prospect that caught our attention and he did it from the very start of the camp. Butler ran the second fastest time in the 40-yard dash and he was one of the first players that we noticed as a camp standout with a time of 4.63 seconds. And as we mentioned in our "Top Testers" article earlier this week, the weather was absolutely brutal for testing so the fact that Butler fought through it and ran a good time as a freshman caught our attention. And speaking of catching, Butler would then take that momentum into the drills and he had a very good showing. One positional coach in particular pointed him out as one of the guys to keep an eye on moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='587295' first='Zaylun' last='Matlock'] - 2026 - McLoud

Our final wide receiver standout is McLoud 2026 receiver [player_tooltip player_id='587295' first='Zaylun' last='Matlock'] and he was another prospect that coaches pointed to as being one of the top guys at his position. And Matlock has been a player on our radar after watching him in his first few seasons with McLoud. He has been an absolute playmaker no matter where he lined up. And Matlock came to our camp ready to work and he certainly accomplished that. While we were watching Matlock during the one on one drills, the one thing that constantly stood out was his ability to separate from his opponent. Matlock isn't the biggest wide receiver but it did not matter. He used his speed and overall quickness to create space and he did it time after time on Sunday.
