The 2024 WV high school football season has completed and now it's time to spotlight the 2026 class with the winter rankings update. Here are the new offensive prospects who were added to the Top 100 rankings.

We got a very limited sample size of 2026 Huntington WR [player_tooltip player_id='1599383' first='Deuce' last='Olden II'] as he had to sit out 8 games due to transferring from Florida. Olden was already a D1 prospect before coming to West Virginia with offers and interest from Bowling Green, Coastal Carolina, and Oklahoma. Due to his late start last season, opportunities were limited in an already-loaded Highlander receiver group to see what he's fully capable of. We're betting on Olden to have his breakout year in WV as a senior in 2025 as Huntington reloads with a bevy of talented receivers to utilize again.

2026 Fairmont Senior OL [player_tooltip player_id='1518161' first='DaeShaun' last='Floyd'] went from unranked to inside of the Top 30 in our 2026 rankings after getting to see him in person twice in recent months. He's still raw but is quickly improving, especially if he dedicates himself over the off-season.

"This was our second time seeing 2026 Fairmont Senior OL [player_tooltip player_id='1518161' first='DaeShaun' last='Floyd'] in person as we also recently saw him at the Winter Exposure Showcase last month. Floyd was a Top Performer at both camps and had a very good performance at the Stock Up Showcase too. He has two older brothers with Darius and Dante Stills with NFL experience to coach him up and maximize his potential as a prospect which is paying dividends in his development. Darius was coaching him up well at both camps, and Floyd was a Top 2 OL in attendance in our eyes. Floyd is still just scratching the surface of what he can become in the future and has all of the tools to transform into a high-level prospect in his own right if he continues to put in the work just like his older brothers."

There's only a three-game sample size of highlights available for 2026 Jefferson WR [player_tooltip player_id='1605206' first='Tony' last='Allen'], but we were impressed with the flashes he showed. We're betting on Allen to show more as a senior in 2025, but the explosiveness was obvious when watching his tape. He has a track background which is apparent in his straight line speed. Allen can hit another gear in the open field while consistently racing past defenders down the sideline. If he gets an angle or a crease, Allen showed he can beat defenders to the spot and create explosive plays.

Another prospect who impressed at the Stock Up Showcase and placed inside of the 2026 Top 50 is Wheeling Park WR [player_tooltip player_id='894631' first='Kolin' last='Wiley']. Wiley was also a standout at DB during the camp but has a lot of potential as a receiver. He led the Patriots in receiving with 32 catches for 556 yards and 7 touchdowns as a junior in 2024 and should take another step forward in 2025. Wiley does a nice job staying in stride when making the catch to generate YAC plays that contributed to his 17.4 catch average. He also shows natural ball skills and the ability to make contested catches in traffic with the speed to break loose in space.

We've been anxiously waiting for 2026 Woodrow Wilson OL [player_tooltip player_id='895010' first='Tyrez' last='Jones'] to post-game film for the first time and were finally able to evaluate him after his junior year. We first discovered Jones as a freshman putting up big numbers in the weight room two years ago which immediately caught our attention. Two years later, Jones now sits inside of the Top 60 in the 2026 rankings and just outside of the Top 10 for offensive linemen. He has the ceiling to continue climbing up the ranks as a still raw prospect with great size who plays center for the Flying Eagles. Jones has the size and power to create a high ceiling for himself as a prospect with more levels to discover in his game.

Another Woodrow Wilson 2026 prospect who is very intriguing is WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1426802' first='Preston' last='Clary']. Clary has real potential for both positions but debuts in the Top 60 as the #12 receiver in the class. He's largely been a basketball prospect up until last season but you can see his raw upside as a football player on his junior tape. Clary is a natural athlete with good size who can develop into a very serious football prospect if he chooses to. His time as a basketball player is very apparent when watching his film as he showed very good ball skills and leaping ability to secure catches. Watch for Clary to be a sleeper prospect in this class if he continues to put in time to develop as a football player.

Fellow teammate and classmate [player_tooltip player_id='866254' first='Malachi' last='Thompson'] rightfully gets a lot of attention for the Nitro Wildcats at receiver, but [player_tooltip player_id='1130335' first='Luke' last='Shafer'] sneakily had one of the better seasons statistically in the state as well last season. The junior pass catcher caught 58 passes for 933 yards and 7 touchdowns which would've led most teams in the state for receiving. This was the first year we got to see his talents on display, and Shafer made the most of it and put himself on college radars. He has natural instincts for the position and does a nice job finding open space and creating separation during his routes.

Another basketball prospect who showed true potential as a football player this season was 2026 Wheeling Central TE [player_tooltip player_id='1473308' first='Max' last='Olejasz']. He's a very notable prospect on the court but could develop into a high-level football prospect if he wants to. You can't teach 6'7 and athletic and although he's a bit light for TE, Olejasz certainly has the frame to grow into one. He was mostly a large WR this season but you can see his potential as a TE when watching his tape. Olejasz was a big play threat for the Knights averaging 24.6 yards per catch on 19 receptions for 467 yards and 10 touchdowns. His ceiling is sky high as a football prospect and it'll be fun to watch how he develops in year two.

A second 2026 Wheeling Park WR to know is a slot receiver with [player_tooltip player_id='894679' first='Owen' last='Dobrzynski-Hines'] who also had a very productive year for the Patriots. While he's undersized, Dobrzynski-Hines is a very explosive athlete who often appears as if he's playing at a different speed than other players on the field. He has great acceleration and his release off of the line is some of the best in the state who will make defenders pay if they're flat-footed. Dobrzynski-Hines is a natural playmaker who can be utilized in a variety of ways to generate explosive plays.

Spring Valley has a talented 2026 offensive line class with [player_tooltip player_id='1138231' first='Maddox' last='Barron'] joining the ranks as a Top 75 prospect. He's a massive athlete who continues to improve and is still far away from his ceiling as a player. Barron improved as the season went on and has the size and tools to develop into a top OL prospect in this class. He played left and right tackle this season for the Timberwolves but could move inside as a large guard at the next level. Barron is a people mover when run blocking and will continue to improve in pass pro.

Another explosive slot receiver to know in the 2026 class is Spring Mills WR [player_tooltip player_id='1605314' first='Tyree' last='Ramey']. Ramey's explosiveness jumped out on film as he became a top target for the state runner-up Cardinals as the season progressed. He was dynamic in the screen and quick pass game and could utilize his quick stop-and-start ability to turn short passes into chunk plays with very good acceleration. Adding verticality to his game as a senior will raise his ceiling as a prospect, but the raw athleticism is there to develop.

A new name on our radar who impressed on his junior highlight tape was 2026 Morgantown OL [player_tooltip player_id='1238323' first='Blake' last='Buffington']. Buffington was excellent as a pulling guard in Morgantown's Wing-T system showing a great combination of physicality and athleticism to get to the second level. He's a nimble athlete for his size with good feet and short area quickness for that scheme. If he can continue adding size while maintaining the athleticism he's shown, Buffington has serious potential as a prospect and is an under-the-radar name to check out.

A third 2026 Wheeling Park receiver to know is [player_tooltip player_id='894630' first='Cazh' last='Campbell'] who exudes potential if he can put it all together as a senior for the Patriots. Production was light on the offensive side of the ball in 2024, but Campbell was lining up as a 6'3 185 corner on defense where he did some good things. His size lends better towards WR or potentially safety on defense, but we expect him to have a bigger role on offense as a senior. Campbell is long and athletic which gives him a great base to build on over the next year and at the next level and should make a big jump as a senior.

Another new name on our radar who showed potential in his junior film was 2026 Robert C. Byrd WR [player_tooltip player_id='1604261' first='Camryn' last='Newsuan']. Newsuan has good size with the frame to add significant weight which will further raise his ceiling. He's a fluid athlete who looks effortless when making plays with a ton of raw ability. Newsuan showed natural ball skills on tape and made several acrobatic plays throughout his film. Newsuan has the size and raw athleticism to make a big jump in the rankings after his senior year.
