He’s peaking at the right time as a prospect and has made tremendous progress in his development since last season. Expect Floyd to earn more D1 offers this fall with a strong senior year to add to his Morehead State offer.

This may have been the best we’ve seen 2026 Fairmont Senior OL DaeShaun Floyd DaeShaun Floyd 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL/DL Fairmont Senior | 2026 State WV look at Fairmont State’s Elite Camp. His impressive showing was rewarded with an offer from the host Falcons, adding another to his group of four with more to come. Floyd is doing a great job of developing his body and technique as a late bloomer with a high ceiling for the position. He looked strong and physical during 1-on-1s with improved footwork. A strong senior season could open the door to FCS opportunities if they don’t come by the end of summer.

Fairmont Senior big man DaeShaun Floyd DaeShaun Floyd 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL/DL Fairmont Senior | 2026 State WV is a prospect we’re high on and was a standout again on Saturday after a strong showing at our Stock Up Showcase earlier this year. He’s still developing both his body and athletically, but has clear upside and is steadily making progress to realize his potential. Floyd has intangibles that you can’t teach with a 6’4 320 frame and use that size well to his advantage. Continuing to improve footwork and being more consistent in that area will prove dividends for his future, which he’s actively working on.

There aren’t really any 6’6-6’7 offensive line behemoths in the state for the 2026 class but Fairmont Senior’s DaeShaun Floyd DaeShaun Floyd 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL/DL Fairmont Senior | 2026 State WV has very good length and a wide frame that fits our Perfect OL Build. In the 6’4 325 range, Floyd looks like a prototypical college offensive guard and looks the part in person as well. He’s working hard to continue developing and transforming his body to maximize his given physical traits and should take another step forward during his senior year. We anticipate Floyd continuing to build on the flashes he showed as a junior for the Polar Bears in 2025.

He’s still raw but is quickly improving, especially if he dedicates himself over the off-season.

Floyd was a Top Performer at both camps and had a very good performance at the Stock Up Showcase too. He has two older brothers with Darius and Dante Stills with NFL experience to coach him up and maximize his potential as a prospect which is paying dividends in his development. Darius was coaching him up well at both camps, and Floyd was a Top 2 OL in attendance in our eyes. Floyd is still just scratching the surface of what he can become in the future and has all of the tools to transform into a high-level prospect in his own right if he continues to put in the work just like his older brothers.”

I thought 2026 Fairmont Senior OL DaeShaun Floyd DaeShaun Floyd 6'4" | 310 lbs | OL/DL Fairmont Senior | 2026 State WV was right in the mix for OL MVP honors and was a standout among the small group at camp. Floyd, who is the younger brother of former WVU standouts and NFLers Darius and Dante Stills, has the size and potential to continue the family pedigree in college in some capacity. I won’t put future NFL expectations on him as he’s still coming into his own and developing, but Floyd can take his game up several notches before he graduates. He’s still a raw prospect currently but you could see flashes of what he can become if he continues to put in the work.
