PRZWV Exposure Series Showcase: QB Top Performers

Maddox tore it up during the testing session with a 4.49 shuttle drill, 7.04 L-drill, and a 9'4" broad jump, all three of which ranked top 10 among attendees. The most impressive part of Maddox's game is his arm strength. He can absolutely rifle the ball into tight windows and deliver the ball on a rope right to his receiver's hands. Twigg flashed clean footwork on his drops, showing he can execute 3-step, 5-step, rollouts, etc., during drills. Very good placement on his passes— lots of throws that were able to lead the receiver open or hit them in stride to keep them rolling. Maddox also showed that he can layer the ball over defenders when throwing over the middle of the field. Harrison stands out physically with a taller frame that fits the "prototypical" measurements college coaches will seek at 6'3" and 215 pounds. Harrison projects as a calm pocket passer who can stand in the pocket and deliver quick, efficient strikes to all levels of the field. Given the limited opposing defense (1v1s), Helbig still showed that he can analyze how the defender is covering his receiver and deliver the ball to a spot where he can go up to snag it. Great footwork to maneuver the pocket and avoid the pass rush. Solid arm strength allows Harrison to not just push the ball deep but do so with zip and accuracy. Harrison also posted some solid numbers in the combine with a 7.38 L-drill and an 8'9" broad jump. Landyn started strong with a great testing portion that resulted in a 9'2" broad jump (8th among all attendees) and a 4.63 shuttle drill. Like Helbig, Landyn has a taller, leaner frame that allows him to stand tall in the pocket as he works through his progressions. He can generate a lot of heat on his passes, as he did a great job showing he could fit the ball into a tight window in an in-game setting. The biggest takeaway from watching Kimari came from when he wasn't in action, showing that he can take directions and coaching points as he works through his drills. Kimari did a good job when targeting receivers over the middle of the field, showing he can throw them open while delivering a catchable lob. Solid mobility/footwork in his drops. Marek, like Kimari, is a prospect with a lot of potential and a strong skill set, but just needs more experience to continue progressing his game. Marek flashed solid arm strength as he was able to hit on intermediate routes and on some tough, quick out routes in 1v1s. Midkiff also had a few throws where he showed his ability to layer the ball over defenders and drop passes right into a bucket.
