2028 Kiski Area (PA) QB Landyn Artman is making the trip from Pennsylvania with something to prove. Artman checks in as a Top 100 prospect in Pennsylvania and brings a strong 6’2 195 frame along with real production from his sophomore season, with over 1,500 passing yards and 16 touchdowns. He adds real depth to an already solid quarterback group and will be in contention for QB MVP honors with a strong showing. We’re excited to see what Artman can do against some underrated talent that the Mountain State has to offer.

Ladyn Artman is a classic dual-threat quarterback. His ability to make plays with his feet and his arm is impressive. In the pocket, he shows good mechanics and footwork. He also has a very strong arm. His ability to throw the deep ball is impressive, as he knows how to put the perfect amount of touch on the ball. Then, when the play breaks down, he can scramble around and make plays with his feet. When that happens, he is excellent at keeping his eyes downfield and making a play. Then, as a runner, he can use his big frame (6’2″) and run for tough yards. Artman is an impressive athlete who plays quarterback. He has a bright future ahead of him.

is having a good season for Kiski Area. He is a good athlete who is a dual threat quarterback. He is a type of player who, because of his athleticism, makes plays with his feet look easy. He can also make every throw. His ability to set his feet and throw the ball is impressive, as he shows a good arm. An example was this past weekend, when he put on a show. He threw for 275 yards and 5 touchdowns. Incredible performance by him. Artman is a talented player as an athlete and a quarterback.

Inside the pocket he shows good footwork and delivers a good ball to his receivers. He shows off a good arm as he can make every throw. He is also a good athlete that excels at making plays outside the pocket. He scrambles around and can find open receivers or take off and run from the pocket. looks to be the next starting QB for Kiski Area HS. Artman played varsity time as a WR in his freshman season, looking like a smooth athlete after the catch. At QB on film, he’s accurate and poised in the pocket. Artman is a dual threat QB without a doubt, offering a really good running aspect to this offense. Artman is someone who could bloom into a star in his sophomore season, and a name that could be someone to watch in the future.

is a true athlete. Under the lights Artman was playing WR for Kiski Area High School, while playing QB for the rest of his highlight tape. Artman is a double agent, being as versatile as he is playing WR, QB, and per his Hudl OLB. Artman at WR is a possession type of player, gets open, and makes the catch when its thrown his way. At QB, Artman throws a pretty boundary ball, always put in the perfect spot. You have to be a good athlete to play 3 positions and Artman is exactly that, allowing me to see multiple ways he could rise our rankings.

is a good athlete who played as a quarterback and a wide receiver last year. When playing quarterback at the junior varsity level, he showed he could run the ball well. On designed quarterback run plays, he does an excellent job of reading his keys and running with the ball. He is a good runner that shows excellent speed, but a physical element of running as well. He shows a good arm when he throws the ball, but he needs to continue to work on his mechanics and footwork in the pocket. Then he played wide receiver on varsity, and he did an excellent job. He is a good athlete who catches the ball well in traffic and makes defenders miss. I expect Artman to possibly play wide receiver full-time and then eventually get a chance to play quarterback down the road.

Big Quarterback who looks like he should be a pocket passer, but showed off a propensity to move the chains and find the end zone with his legs.

, Artman is physically imposing lined up behind center at 6-foot and 175-pounds (unofficially)
– Strong signal caller that runs hard and is a load to bring down if he keeps the ball himself. Offense has more than a few designed runs for him to keep the chains moving in short yardage situations
– Throws a pretty deep ball right now, though it can float on him at times. His ability is advanced with both his legs and his arm at this point, with a bright future ahead of him
