In Tyran's first season at Hough, he showed why he is such a highly recruited and regarded player in the 2026 class. Tyran showed exceptional speed and explosion on the outside, giving the Huskies offense a new element that produced some impressive results all season long. Tyran totaled nearly 1000 yards receiving and simply could not be covered on a multitude of downfield routes in man coverage. He easily would make my Junior Bowl team.

James is a player who excels at a number of different things - however, as a receiver, James shows some very good hands and runs good routes overall. I think James is a bit under the radar because he plays for a program that is usually not in the spotlight, but he is the BEST player for this team and always gets all of the attention from their opponents. James earns a spot on my Junior Bowl team easily.

Donte has a penchant for making big plays in big games - he caught a touchdown pass in West Charlotte's championship game victory over 71st as a prime example. Donte has very good speed, strong hands, and knows how to get open against both man and zone coverages. Donte has some deserved recruiting interest from colleges, and in all honesty, he should have a lot more coming his way. Big time players will always make this Junior Bowl team, that's who Donte is.

I have been impressed with Rakim for a couple of years now. When I saw him in person earlier this season, all he was doing was getting open on a number of downfield routes. Rakim is a good possession receiver who can make the catches to move the chains but has the speed to make big plays over the top happen as well. A team captain with a 3.7 GPA who can change the game? Easily makes this Junior Bowl team.

Brody has been a highly-recruited player for the last couple of years, with offers from a number of Division 1 Power 4 schools. Brody is an easy selection for this Junior Bowl team because he can win against man coverage, especially in the red zone. I have seen Brody on multiple occasions in person high-point the football in the end zone against good defensive backs. Brody has strong hands and the speed to win down the field on deep routes.

Gordon is another highly recruited prospect with special talent. Some of Gordon's best traits are his route-running ability, and ease of route-running - meaning that he makes the cuts, bursts, jukes, etc....all look very easy and smooth. Gordon has excellent speed out of his breaks and can win versus man coverage. He also recognizes zone coverage and knows when and how to throttle down and find the holes when needed for his quarterback. Gordon recently named a Top 5 list of schools for his recruitment, which include Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Michigan, and Clemson. His spot on this Junior Bowl team is easy.

Dominic is an all-around receiver who excels in any type of coverage look you might throw at him. Seeing him up close this past season, I love Dominic's physicality at the line of scrimmage against press-man coverage. Dominic does a good job of working his releases against corners who try to be physical with him, and he wins against man coverage on a variety of routes after doing so. Dominic was named All-Conference for the 2nd year in a row, and he's also named to this Junior Bowl team.

I have been a big fan of Kelson for a long time, and with 38 catches and 6 touchdowns this past season - his first for Weddington - he showed a lot of his best traits all season long. Kelson's quick-twitch ability in the open field produced some impressive highlights and a nice complement to the Warriors' overall offensive attack. Kelson is also a dangerous threat in the return game on Special Teams. All those assets make him a great fit for this Junior Bowl team.

This big & physical prospect had a breakout season as a Wide Receiver for the Mountaineers, and his frame and production led to several offers from Power 4 schools across the Southeast and beyond. William has some versatility also - he can play as an in-line tight end and also play some defense as an EDGE player. William has an excellent catch radius and strong hands to go along with good enough speed to bully smaller defensive backs in single coverage down the field on deep routes and win. That ability alone is enough to have William on this Junior Bowl team.

Jordan is another player I've long admired that is just a straight dog and playmaker with the football in his hands. Jordan has electric speed as a receiver, and he excels in making plays down the field, stretching the defense and being a game breaker. Jordan also can excel in the quick screen game, moving quickly with excellent agility and wiggle to match his vision with the ball in his hands. Jordan can also be explosive on kickoff and punt returns, with the traits to make defenders miss in the open field. Jordan is an easy selection for my Junior Bowl team for these reasons.

Alex is a big and strong receiver for the Mavericks who faced a lot of attention this past season as their #1 threat in the passing game. I feel like Alex's best football is ahead of him, and this past season he started to realize how good he can become. Alex has strong hands and knows how to run his routes to gain leverage on smaller defensive backs downfield. Alex is also an impressive blocker in the running game, fitting his hands well inside the frame of defenders and driving them away from ball carriers. Alex got his first offer this past season from Elon University, and I think his stock is definitely rising where more recruiting attention will come his way. He's an easy pick for this Junior Bowl team.

Jasiah is probably the name you don't recognize on here if you are a dedicated Charlotte Metro Area football fan, but he's a special player for a South Stanly team that is on the rise overall. With 56 catches for over 1100 yards and 14 touchdowns, Jasiah has proven to be a big-play prospect who can get it done at all three levels on offense. Jasiah has the vertical ability to win in jump ball situations against defensive backs in single coverage. Jasiah also shows good route running skills on intermediate routes, with the ability to make runs after the catch. Finally, Jasiah excels in the quick screen game, getting North/South quickly with the ball in his hands and cutting off of his blocks well. His inclusion on the Junior Bowl team would give him a chance to shine on a big stage, and I have no doubts he would do so.
