This is simply a tool that automatically updates to show me who I've written about — and who I haven't. Using our coverage counter, I've identified five talented players in our 2028 rankings who haven't gotten enough attention from us here at Prep Redzone in the last six months.

Brown-Wells is a physical player, even as an undersized safety-linebacker hybrid. He loves to come downhill and make plays in the backfield. He's already grown a bit in the last year, and if he continues to do that, his game should continue to evolve. His physical profile suggests he'll have more ball production in the passing game next year. We're excited to see how he plays this season as a key piece on what should be an inexperienced but talented defensive unit at Terry Sanford.

Copeland isn't the biggest guy, but he has good speed and an excellent release package off the line. He was reliable underneath, catching 26 passes as a sophomore in New Bern's talented passing attack. He excels against zone coverage, able to find the soft spot in the secondary, and he has soft, reliable hands. That combination of traits makes him a desirable target for his quarterbacks.

Adams contributed on both sides of the ball for Southern Guilford as a sophomore, and he has the physical tools to take a huge step forward. He had a bigger early impact on defense, where he excelled in coverage and made 18 tackles in six games. He can cover a lot of ground from his free safety position, which shows in both the pass and outside run game.

Brogdon spent most of last year on the JV team, but also got some run on the varsity squad early in the year. He has a strong arm for his size and is a mature decision-maker, willing to take calculated risks without putting the ball in too much danger. He has good mobility and is a candidate to take a step forward in 2026.

Nukala had an excellent year for Green Level, both as a run-stopper and a pass defender. He has good instincts and a great motor to chase down plays on the other side of the field. He racked up 37 tackles as a sophomore, including six for loss and a forced fumble. We're looking forward to seeing how the lengthy linebacker continues to refine his game.
