About Rylan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have excellent hands that are very strong, which gives me the ability to catch the ball thrown high or low. My concentration is top notch, even with a ball thrown in a crowd. I’m not afraid of getting hit and I use my jumping ability to catch the ball at its highest point. My routes are very good. I break out of them on balance, with great footwork and acceleration.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm level headed and stay calm in stressful situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

My hope is to eventually become a primary care physician, so I'm looking for a school that offers majors in pre-med, biology, or chemistry. I would love to be a part of a college that is competitive in their conference.

Copeland isn’t the biggest guy, but he has good speed and an excellent release package off the line. He was reliable underneath, catching 26 passes as a sophomore in New Bern’s talented passing attack. He excels against zone coverage, able to find the soft spot in the secondary, and he has soft, reliable hands. That combination of traits makes him a desirable target for his quarterbacks.
